Demi Moore In Carven – “No Strings Attached” LA Premiere

Demi Moore wore her favourite colour on the red carpet for the “No Strings Attached” LA premiere – black.

The actress supported her hubby Ashton Kutcher wearing a sexy Carven bow-back ruched taffeta dress from the Spring 2011 collection with exposed zipper details.

Those details give her LBD an interesting twist.

Demi just can’t shake her love for wearing all things black as she added Brian Atwood ‘Harrison’ pumps with a chain detail on the heel to her look which also complemented her studded clutch.

The only thing about her look that wasn’t black were her sparkling Cartier jewels.

Those of you who have often complained about Demi’s ‘never changing hairstyle’ will be pleased to see that she sported a quiff with a loose messy bun on this occasion.

I hate this look. It isn’t flattering and does nothing for her at all. Her stylist is Rachel Zoe. Is Rachel too busy to care about her clients because this is awful. Just because the dress shows off Demi’s legs and back doesn’t make the dress flattering. Black, grey, beige and white AGE her.

I like this, the dress is a much more interesting take on the LBD and I like the quiff tho it’s a little wonky.
Say what you want about Demi but she has an amazing body.

this i no good…desperately seeking youth…too many zippers and studs. She looks so much better in her elegant, simple and usually sleek style.

Wow, never thought Demi could look this interesting! Beautiful, definitely.

I’m not a Demi fan, but I think this look is head to toe gorgeous! BDOTW contender for me too.

Uh???? love the dress but look too young on demi, i don’t know, she does look young just like the dress, i would prefer to see this dress on a younger woman.

Horrid. Mutton dressed as lamb. The dress has too many details. Her hair looks wrong.

  13. asherlev1 January 12, 2011 at 19:05 #

What is her hair doing? Lol, I’ve never been one of the ones that complained about her hairstyle. Demi’s pretty much always almost flawless to me.~

  14. Tania January 12, 2011 at 19:08 #

Love it! The dress is so interesting and the hairstyle is youthful.

I like the dress much better in the taupe version–blak makes the zippers too prominent. Can’t Demi wear taupe?

  16. Shawna January 12, 2011 at 19:56 #

This dress is for Miley Cyrus not Demi Moore…

  17. Jones19 January 12, 2011 at 20:25 #

    Drop dead gorgeous.

  18. Leo January 12, 2011 at 20:55 #

    Hate it.

  19. Rahel January 12, 2011 at 21:32 #

Hot Demi in a hot dress. That’s her style.

  20. Sharon January 12, 2011 at 22:57 #

I like the taupe version better – shows more detail – but I don’t think the color would look as good on Demi. As for the hair, love the messy bun, not so much the quiff (what a great word!).

Though i love the dress i must say this look is so not age appropriate for demi

  22. KateS January 13, 2011 at 01:03 #

I agree with the age comments – this is a dress for a younger woman. It’s not that Demi doesn’t have the body for it, it’s just that it comes across as trying to hard and maybe even a little desperate. Simpler and more elegant dresses are better for her.

I love the dress, but I don’t like it on Demi. As much as I do not like Rihanna’s style, I am thinking that it would look better on someone her or someone with her similar style. She proves that this dress is not for because of the boring footwear.
I love the back of Demi’s hair.
As far as stylists go, they give their clients at least 5-7 options. They can push for what they want, but the client makes the final decision.

I love this dress!!! BDOTW contender, but I agree with the comments about the fact that she tries so hard to show how well she’s aging. I’m not sure about the hair, a little bit too messy.

  25. dee January 13, 2011 at 17:27 #

I like the hair and the front of the dress on Demi. The back of the dress however with that bow looks off.

  26. Jinni January 17, 2011 at 14:42 #

Oooh I didn’t recognise her at first!, she looks sexy & the back is a nice twist to the LBD.
