i really like the options we’re seeing in 2011. i went with sophia bush for this one just because it’s been so long since we’ve seen her on the red carpet and i think she looks fantastic. i also liked how lauren conrad looks upscale wearing urban outfitters!
And K-Stew wears mini dresses all the time. I thought she made the Reem Acra dress meh. Those black pumps are killing me! Sophia Bush looks gorgeous and fitter than ever. Then Queen Latifah. She looks stunning! Then my girl Florence Welch.
I agree abotu Kristen. It is a gorgeous dress, but she does nothing for it. I am bored by her wearing the same thing over and over again. I think I am mostly angry that she shortened it.

the thing about Sophie is that she ALWAYS looks good. I saw her in a Herve Ledger dress that would make anyone else look like an idiot but she totally pulled it off! It was a wait that was worth it! I hope she is at the Golden Globes. There is a Elie Saab gown with her name on it!

I really don’t understand what’s so amazing about Kristen Stewart’s outfit. It’s just a gold mini dress with black pumps… whatever… must be all the Twilighters voting… lol… I wish Katy Perry would’ve made it, instead of Queen Latifah, she did come second in the PCA BD poll after all. Vote went to Florence Welch in this case.

Florence Welch looked amaaaazing in that jumpsuit. She’s a new favorite for sure. Blake & Kristen both looked great also, but Florence is a 70s dream!!

With regards to the others they didn’t make it out of the People’s Choice poll so there was no point adding them to this list as the people have already spoken. It’s called common sense.

Sophia’s dress is fully embellished, which is mroe intricate than Lauren;s, no? Also, there is a difference of opinions, and FC chose what she favours, adn what she thinks other’s would favour. The other people from People’s choice weren;t mentioned because they will not be named BDOTW, because clearly KRisten would be reader’s choice, as sh ewon that poll, and FC did nto prefer any of the other’s, bar Queen Latifash, or she would have posted them so she could choose them.

I’m butthurt that Kristen made this list so I’m voting for Leighton, even though I’m really voting for her Vionnet ensemble.
How is Kristen winning this? Yeah she looks good, but it’s not really anything all that special, especially compared to Florence, Leighton and Emmy.

Surprisingly, I like Kim’s look more than half of this list. But voted for Florence, just pure amaziness
People! Please, this is not a popularity contest! Please don’t just vote for Kristen because you like Twilight! If you really thought she was the best dressed (really? Next to Florence in Elie Saab and Leighton in Versace???) then vote for her but if not, please vote for whoever DESERVES the best-dressed title by being the best-dressed, not who you WANT to win for other reasons.
All I ask is that you take a moment to think about why you’re voting for the person you’re voting for.
For me it was close between Florence and Leighton, but I don’t like jumpsuits and didn’t realize it was one until now. (I know, I’m ashamed.) With Leighton I found no fault so I went with her.
Completely agree, she doesn;t hold a candle to many of the other looks, adn IMO it is not just because of Twilight, it is also because she doesnt look as hideous as usual, so in comparison sh elooks great. I voted Florence, despite the fact I despite almost all jumpsuits, because she poses incredible, even whilst performing, and that photo look so much mroe beautiful than half the stuff in vogue nowadays, which is half the point of a look IMO, Leighton than Emmy were runners up.
I love this blog and the BDOTW contest, FC knows how much I appreciate her work but, hey girls, it’s just a game and fashion, like sports, cinema, music, is first of all having fun. So enjoy the 1st BTOTW poll of 2011 (I voted Queen Latifah) and hope the next ones will be as glamorous as this!

All the ladies look wonderful here but I voted for Sophia Bush. I’ve missed her on the red carpet and that dress/shoe combination is PERFECTION. Pamela Roland tweeted that Sophia looked gorgeous in it and I couldn’t agree more. I wish Katy Perry had made the list since hers was my favorite PCA outfit but alas..:)
Here is my opinion, and feel free to chime in FC or anyone who is reading this.
The thing about Kristen Stewart is that slowly but surely she is evolving into more of a stylish person. As soon as the hair grew back, she seemed to become a confident woman again and has made great choices, like her Valentino Resort 2011 lace dress, her GUISHEM dress and this Reem Acra mini.
I am a big Twilight fan and thinks she looks amazing, but my pick went to Florence Welch. I love me some Elie Saab and at first didn’t realize this was a jumpsuit, but Florence rocks it with such confidence and looks stunning.
I do agree, but had this been a red carpet look I don’t think I would have liked it so much because the black shoes and the brown belt would have been highlighted.
From the pictures I saw her hair was super glossy, her make-up was gorgeous, so despite her fans voting for her, I can’t be mad because she did look amazing

There’s something wrong with this world if yet another sparkling mini dress (compined with black shoes) wins over colorful dresses with a lot of details and structures, dresses that actually show some personality.
Actually my best dressed of the week was Selena Gomez in Irina Shabayeva, but since she didn’t make it here, I voted for Florence Welch. Her picture just mesmerizes me.
i would have put Whitney Port In Jill Stuart – Marquee Nightclub over Lauren Conrad here. i love all the other looks but i’m missing Whitney Port In Jill Stuart, the gold necklace…..Leighton will have to get my vote.
Honestly I don’t see amazing looks in this poll, I voted for E. Rossum, I don’t like orange but her look is really beautiful, she looks so good. I like F. Welch, too, she always choose great outfit but I don’t like jumpsuit. If it was a dress I would have voted for her, I love gold and pleated fabric. K. Stewart’s look is a deja-vu.

What’s special with a mini sparkling dress? Ok, it’s a refreshing look that Kristen didn’t wear black but she didn’t look that outstanding. It’s just that too many people are crazy with Twillight. I hate it. They just need a pretty face, a “good” plot, a bit of acting then they’re famous.
None of these look actually blow me away. I much prefer the People’s choice Awards poll.

I voted for Florence Welch. I believe she gives a “voice” to each and every outfit she wears. It is like the clothes are coming to life through her.
As about miss Stewart, maybe her look is not out of the ordinary, but her hair and make up were flawless and she was far more consistent than at previous events. (However, I hear the concerns that if she had walked the red carpet we wouldn’t liked her so much…)
