Jennifer Connelly glowed as she stepped onto the red carpet in Chicago last night for the World Premiere of her latest movie, “The Dilemma.”
The star looked beautiful wearing a simple Lanvin plisse kimono gown.
The floor length grey gown with a deep V neckline, half kimono sleeves and a banded waist showed off her growing baby bump.
She accessorized her look with a collection of silver necklaces.
Who knew Lanvin could translate so well into a maternity dress?
I hate it when stars hide behind baggy or oversized clothes when pregnant. I love that Jennifer looks stylish whilst proudly displaying her bump.
She looks stunning.
This will be Jennifer’s 3rd child.

Beautiful? She looks like she is forced to be there or like she didn’t have any other plan. The dress in she looks like a nightware or if she is expecting … For me, is her worst look.

That would be amazing, after all Miranda Kerr did walk the show pregnant! That being said, I much prefer this look, she looks stunning and serene, th enecklaces are so delicate and beautiful, it all works together beautifully. It might be my deperate love of Lanvin, but had it not been too late, I would have REquested this for BDOTW, I really love it.

i too don’t like it ,it is not a good coulor on her,and dress it self is blah. but due to her state i don’t blame her for looking tired,it can’t be helped.

I didn’t even know she was pregnant until I read it in the post, this dress doesn’t do her baby bump or the rest of her body any favors.

That’s so funny- my first thought was, “This could have been nice, but the shape just makes her look pregnant” and then it hit me… I think it’s a good dress and good accessories.
It’s a very austere look, and I like it – she looks like a madonna from the Medieval period, love the necklaces and the hairstyle, this could even be a BDOTW for me, but I guess few would agree…..
Lovely color in a gorgeous fabric on a lady who seems to only grow prettier and prettier as the years pass. I love it!
I like it. Not everyone can be bothered to wear tight dresses to show off their baby bump. She looks simple and radiant. Love the jewelry.
I’m not a fan. The way her waistline is done makes her boobs look really saggy. With that distracting me, it takes the eye off the baby bump which is a real shame.
Lanvin is hit and miss on the red carpet, with a lot of misses. They make beautiful clothes, but sometimes they just don’t translate that well on the red carpet.
The first thing I said when I saw this was: Is she pregnant? Idk if that’s a good or bad thing, but i’m not feeling this dress. Lanvin or not, it looks sad & frumpy….
As a woman of two children, I find it hard to critique a pregnant woman. But, this is not flattering her figure at all. It actually looks big and oversized to me. And too long.

I like it so much, I think her belly is not that big, so she could wear something less loose but I think that not all pregnant women want to expose the belly like some women who wear super tight dresses when they’re 8 months pregnant. i like it and also her plain hairstyle. She looks so sweet.
