Classic Look With A Twist Award
The impossibly gorgeous Minka Kelly graced the red carpet at the 2011 People’s Choice Awards which was held at the Nokia Theatre in LA last night.
Normally when stars wear Vivienne Westwood they stick to the same style when the designer offers so much more.
Minka’s Vivienne Westwood lace dress from the Spring 2011 collection has the designers trademark corset, but with many other interesting details.
The super feminine bronze mini dress with a lace overlay has an asymmetrical hem plus a plaid sash tied to the waist.
Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ suede pumps and a Bottega Veneta knot satin intrecciato clutch are perfect complements to her look.

minka is incredibly gorgeous in this dress. i don’t hate the heels, but imagine if she’d picked up the orange in the sash and worn strappy orange heels . it would have been hands down bdotw for me.
i love the dress, her styling and everything else. but her boobs are too squeezed and the dress is too low in the area…. dont know it looks bad…

I wish she wasn’t showing cleavage. It just looks tacky with this neckline.
Not sure about this look… Although it semms good, her cleavage ruins the whole thing, making the dress looking really cheap. I prefer it on the model.
(Irrelevant: Does anyone else thinks that she is Leighton Meester’s long lost tween sister, even style-wise?)

Love this look on Minka. She has great style, and I wish we’d see more of her on the red carpet. I still remember that summery Christian Dior she wore a while ago. She really knows how to dress.
On a side note, I love her show Friday Night Lights. I wish it’d get more attention because it’s phenomenal.
I think that the fact that so much of her cleavage is out ruins the look along with the shoe choice.
