Whitney Port was my favourite on the red carpet at the grand opening of Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas last week.
The reality TV star wore a Jill Stuart Fall 2010 dress.
I love both the texture and bold shoulders on her teal shimmering dress.
Whitney added a gold statement necklace to her fashion forward look along with a Lauren Merkin’s ‘Iris’ clutch
Her trademark high bun and nude strappy sandals completed her look.
My first pick of 2011 for BDOTW.
The necklace really helps sell this look.

glamorous!!!!
Oh I’m so glad you like it. I saw it and really liked it, but then some people in the media really hated it, and I was worried that I was the only one who liked it. Glad I’m not alone.
I liked it also. But not loving the color of sandal.
me too, diff colure would be better
Agreed on that. The shoes aren’t my fave.
ha ha me too
i HATE those shoes, gold sandals or pumps would be perfect, but white?! gold would have complimented the necklace…
WHY NOT?????
I really like it aswell. I like how she has such a melange of different styles that all come together in this look. The media hate many looks that I actually find beautiful. E!’s fashion police is possibly the worst culprit of this.
That fashion police looks a mess IMO, Joan is entertaining and that is all.
I love the color – and I love the confidence… but it doesn’t quite do it for me.
Oh FC – did you see pictures of Kirsten Dunst? Boring heels – but she glowed and it’s one of her best looks she’s had in a long while in my opinion.
PS. Happy New Year. I came back to sigh over the top looks of 2010 while I waited breathlessly for your return. Can’t wait to see what happens this year
Its nice that she is stepping out of the box but this just looks wrong and thats because of the shoulders.
I agree. I think this dress is beautiful and I keep picturing how great it would look on Blake Lively, who is taller and who I think the dress would suit more.
Yep. Lively would rock this look!
DIVA!!!
The colour is gorgeous, the bold shoulders are fierce and she is really selling the dress. The statement necklace makes an great impact on the view of the dress. the heels are to die for however I feel the clutch are out of place. Overall, she knocked out!!!
First BDOTW contender for sure!!!
Sorry to disagree. Don’t like dress. Don’t like hair. Or the sandals or the purse. Def not BDOTW worthy for me. Happy New Year FC!
I love the colour but I am not fond of the design especially around the neck and shoulders-I don’t think good design needs gimmicks . I love the shoes but not with this dress
I’m mpt cpmvomced/
While I don’t really care for the dress, I don’t like it on Whitney. She’s not edgy or fierce enough to pull it off. Sorry to say that I think that it would look better on someone in the same vein as Rihanna.
The hair is horrible, and I think that the necklace is too much.
I’m not convinced. I can’t believe that I missed that.
She looks great, the necklace is Mawi… I really want some Mawi, adds glamour to any look…
Really NOT loving this look, to be honest FC I was expecting you to skewer her over this! The whole look screams “cheap” to me.
I’m not falling for this…
The bag and shoes don’t go with the dress. The big shoulders need to go as well. Not BDOTW worthy at all.
Omg.!!
this is on of the most beautiful dresses i’ve ever seen!
I totally agree: perfect color and texture
BDOTW for sure!!
Kinda reminds me of the NFL.
this is the first tme i like what she is wearing. ugly shoes!
LOVE the dress! She looks so beautiful and polished.
