Happy New Year.
Welcome back to Red Carpet Fashion Awards. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year celebrations.
I’m sure you’ve been starving for fashion like I have over the past few weeks so it’s good to be back.
Awards Season kicks off tomorrow with the Peoples’ Choice Awards, followed by the Critics’ Choice Awards, the Golden Globe Awards and many more in-between before the big O (the Oscars) in February.
During that time we will also get to see lots of new designs during Spring 2011 Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week this month and the Fall 2011 Ready-to-wear collections next month.
It’s going to be an exciting year.
Many things are going on behind the scenes – which I won’t bore you with right now – so things may change at a moment’s notice.

Welcome back Fashion Critic! We missed you! Hope you had an amazing break and are ready for another fantastic year of red carpet watching.
Having found my best dressed for last year in the form of Diane Kruger in Christian Lacroix couture at last year’s Golden Globes (way back in January!), I’ve got high hopes for this month.
As for the “exciting changes” that you mention above, please tell me that you’re not going to make any major changes to what I regard as the most indispensible fashion website on the planet. Please!

They were my thoughts exactly noo. Change is a good thing but as long as we have Red Carpet Fashion Awards in some incarnation, I think we’ll all be happy.

It was a holiday here in the UK yesterday so I took advantage as I won’t get many days off when awards seasons starts
