Dannii Minogue ended her run on the X Factor tonight wearing a British designer.

Her gorgeous fully sequined white Jenny Packham Fall 2010 gown had added embroidered beaded details around the neckline and around the waist.

As usually her Annoushka earrings provided as much delight as her gown and her red lips provided the only pop of colour.

It’s not my favourite look from this series, but Dannii looked stunning as always.

I wasn’t holding much hope for Cheryl Cole on tonights X Factor mostly because I was in fear of being bitterly disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised.

She opted for a gorgeous J. Mendel Fall 2010 gown.

The waxy dress which we’ve already seen on Malin Akerman has a fish-tail hem and a haltered neckline.

I loved the way the dress was more fitted around her waist than it appeared on the model.

Cheryl completed her look by pulling back her hair into a tight ponytail and which showed off her De Grisogono diamond and ruby earrings.

Finally a look I loved head-to-toe.

This week saw the battle of the two Elie Saab gowns worn by Katy Perry and Daisy Lowe.

Katy won, but Daisy ran her very close.

It could’ve been a whole different story had Daisy done something more with her hair. I know many of you had real issues with her styling.

Katy wore her lilac Elie Saab Couture gown to “The Tempest” LA Premiere this week.

She glowed with gorgeousity as she continues to channel a demure sophisticated look.

We all hope she continues to mix things up in the future, but for now we are loving this new direction.

Dannii Minogue started the X Factor Saturday live shows wearing J’Aton Couture and for the last Saturday show in this series she wore her favourite design duo again.

We’ve all noticed how celebrities have upped their game on the red carpet within the last month or so, but Dannii’s burgundy J’Aton Couture gown has been the most breath-taking.

The Australian judge opted to cover the sheer parts around the bust to make the gown less-revealing for TV, but it took nothing away from the gown – in fact it made the gown more elegant.

Dannii wore the gown without the thin snake-skin belt with art deco brooch. She opted to wear a less-blingy J’Aton patent skinny belt.

Dannii styled her hair into a classy updo showing off her earrings from her favourite jeweler Annoushka.

A Pomellato ring and Prada patent wine heels complete this BDOTW/Y worthy look.

This is my favourite look so far, but I’m hoping she can out do herself tonight for the final show.

Apart from Dannii Mingoue the only shining light from this series of the X Factor has been Rebecca Ferguson.

She floored me with a beautiful rendition of Corinne Bailey Rae’s ‘Like A Star’.

Not only by her voice, but also by her breath-taking Luisa Beccaria Fall 2010 gown.

The mother of two from Liverpool has worn a few gowns during this series, most of which have overwhelmed her, but on this occasion she hit the right note.

It was dramatic without being over the top and the colour was gorgeous against her caramel skin-tone.

I was totally baffled by pairing of Rebecca Ferguson and Christina Aguilera. Clearly it was a case of who was in town, rather than finding someone to complement Rebecca’s voice.

Rebecca was class personified in her Richard Sorger Spring 2009 dress as she started singing ‘Beautiful’.

I loved the bejeweled neckline on her nude silk dress.

Christina looked like she was on a 10 minute break from working the poll at Peter Stringfellows. It was an awful match up and Christina totally dominated the song and didn’t allow Rebecca to shine during the duet.

As Rebecca walked onto the stage with her mentor prior to the results being read out, Rebecca looked gorgeous wearing a William Tempest Fall 2010 dress.

Her dress with a silver metallic bodice and cream skirt with a peplum at the waist, shows Rebecca has a very diverse style which doesn’t seem forced or manufactured.

I hope she wins so we can see more of her in the future.

For a Saturday night X Factor final Cheryl opted for a soft grecian look.

Her cream asymmetrical one shoulder Roberto Cavalli Resort 2009 gown was decorated in silver embellishments across the bodice.

The gown was stunning, but I just couldn’t get on board with the ‘just got out of the shower’ hair.

Rebecca outshone her mentor last night.
