Red Carpet Fashion Awards

The Nobel Peace Prize Concert took place in Olso, Norway this weekend and we were treated to a double dose of Hollywood glamour from Anne Hathaway.

Many of you have questioned her recent red carpet looks, but Princess Anne totally redeems herself.

Anne hosted the concert with Denzel Washington. No doubt this will be great practice for the Oscars which she will be hosting next year.

She looked beautiful wearing a J. Mendel Fall 2010 gown.

Her metallic strapless gown has a sexy thigh-high split – as sported by Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Carrie Underwood last week – which she wore with black Jimmy Choo ‘Nuala’ sandals.

The old Hollywood look was complete with marcel waves, diamond drop earrings and a matching bracelet.

Krysten Ritter attended the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards which took place at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California this weekend.

The ‘Gravity’ actress wore an ethereal Alberta Ferretti chiffon dress from the Spring 2011 collection.

Her floral print dress with flutter cap sleeves has been lined from the sheer runway version.

I loved this dress on the runway, but I don’t feel the same excitement when seeing it on Krysten.

I’m not sure if that’s because of the lining which takes away the lightness of this dress, or because Krysten isn’t breathing much life into this dress.

Olivia Wilde was glowing as brightly as her gold Emilio Pucci Resort 2011 dress at the LA Premiere of her new movie “Tron: Legacy” this weekend.

The brunette actress has been wearing a lot of dark colours lately, so this gold sequined Pucci gown with a keyhole detail is a refreshing change.

You can always tell when a star loves what she’s wearing and I feel that just by looking at this picture.

Olivia opted to add a belt to the loose fitted dress to give it some shape.

Without the belt the dress instantly gives off a ‘Nicole Richie/Rachel Zoe Boho’ vibe.

I love everything about this look excluding her hair. I would’ve preferred the style to have been pushed back off her face.

A Judith Leiber clutch completed her look.

At the Mexico photocall Olivia opted for a more minimalist look… Read more…

Katie Cassidy looked very chic at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards which took place at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California this weekend.

Prior to her stint in ‘Gossip Girl’, Katie used to wear a lot of fitted mini dresses, but on this occasion she opted for an Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2010 gown.

Her glorious black gown had sexy lace panels on the bodice and running down both sides of her dress. These lace panels were embellished with beaded details.

Katie kept her accessories very simple by adding a black clutch and diamond bracelet.

Princess Victoria of Sweden attended the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden this weekend.

She arrived with her husband of 6 months, Daniel Westling (Prince Daniel) wearing an Elie Saab gown.

Her beige silk gown with embroidered details on the bust and waist was accessorized with breath-taking jewels and a dazzling clutch.

Princess Victoria of Sweden is a huge fan of Elie Saab. You may remember she wore 2 of his dresses during her wedding weekend.

We first saw this red J. Mendel Fall 2010 gown when it was worn by Malin Akerman as she arrived on the red carpet for “The Bang Bang Club” Premiere during the 2010 Toronto Film Festival.

The blonde Swedish actress wore her hair back in a super tight bun to show off her haltered neckline.

She let the dress do all the talking by only adding rings to her look.

Cheryl Cole wore the same gown on tonights X Factor.

After looking at the runway and Malin’s version of this J. Mendel dress, it looks like Cheryl’s has been modified very slightly around the waist.

It has more definition and the bodice appears to be longer on Cheryl.

I love how Cheryl’s version it more fitted and elongates her petite frame, plus I love her earrings so she wins for me.
