Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: December 2010

Once again I think we have a case of the lesser known star upstaging the main star of the movie.

Beau Garrett walked the red carpet at the “Tron Legacy” LA Premiere this weekend glowing in a Giambattista Valli Fall 2010 gown.

Her burnt orange gown had a more regal, effortless feel to it in comparison to Olivia Wilde’s glitzy look.

Unlike Olivia’s look I can find no fault here.

I love how Beau’s accessories complement the nude satin sash around her waist.

Despite all that drama in the background, I only have eyes for Beau.

What a breath-taking beauty.

Normally I’m a huge fan of whatever Lea Michele wears on the red carpet, but I wasn’t fond her look at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards.

She wore an elegant white strapless The Row dress, but it does nothing for her.

It needs to be shortened, more fitted; she would have smooth out the hair and opt for better shoes for me to like this look.

She’s had better days on the red carpet.

Amy Adams was in New York City to attend a screening of her new film “The Fighter” to benefit the Cinema School.

The actress wore one of my favourite looks from Roland Mouret’s Spring 2011 collection.

I do prefer the runway teal colour, but I also love Amy’s black shorter length version.

The plunging black Roland Mouret dress looks very chic on the new mum.

It looks like she getting back into the swing of dressing for the red carpet.

A Roland Mouret dress is never as simple as it seems.

From the back you can see that the dress has a sexy open back.

Florence Welch was one of the many performers to take the stage at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert held in Oslo, Norway this weekend.

The red haired singer wore a stunning lemon Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture gown.

Her chiffon batwing sleeved gown was dripping with gorgeous embellished details with floral appliqués added around the hips on the hem.

A big voice needs a big gown.

I love that she wasn’t afraid to wear this colour with her pale skin and red hair. On paper it shouldn’t have work, but she looks outstanding.

Odette Yustman looked sensational on the red carpet at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards which took place at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California this weekend.

She donned an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2011 dress.

The black point d’esprit dress with a satin ribbon belt was the perfect look to enhance her beauty.

My only disappointment with this look is that I wish she’d opted for daintier heels.

The dress is so light, but the black satin ankle strap pumps make this look feel heavy.

Beautiful strappy black sandals would’ve been perfect.
