Who Wore Farah Angsana Better? Maria Canals-Barrera or Katherine Heigl

Actress Maria Canals-Barrera looked breath-taking at the 2010 Creative Arts Emmy Awards back in August.

She glowed under the Californian sun wearing a beautiful navy Farah Angsana gown with a pleated detail on the bust.

Her finishing touches included gorgeous bubblegum pink lips and a navy sparkling clutch.

Katherine Heigl wore the same dress to the 2010 CMA Awards.

She opted for a silver clutch and sapphire jewels.

Maria wins for me because I think with a neckline that detailed Katherine didn’t need the necklace and I will never get used to her as a blonde.

Angelina Jolie In Versace – “The Tourist” Berlin Premiere

True to form Angelina Jolie wore black to “The Tourist” Berlin Premiere tonight.

Whilst I love the idea of her Versace velvet dress having built in gloves – for both style and comfort – I still can’t help wishing for that WOW factor I know is never coming.

For some reason this gothic-vibe she giving us feels really familiar.

Even the voluminous hair has a touch of de ja vu about it (“Mr. And Mrs. Smith” LA Premiere 2005).

I think what I’m trying to say that despite Donatella creating an amazing dress, Angelina doesn’t excite me wearing it.

Had this been worn by Christina Ricci or Megan Fox with red hot lips I think I would be drooling on my keyboard, but I’m not feeling that with Ange.

Katie Cassidy In Versace – 2011 Golden Globe Awards Season And Miss Golden Globe Announcement Party

Katie Cassidy channeled her inner sex kitten on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards Season And Miss Golden Globe Announcement Party recently.

The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a Versace Fall 2010 mini dress.

Her white dress has a thigh-high split and crystal detailing at the neckline.

The dress takes various parts of many looks from the Versace Fall 2010 collection.

This simple version suits Katie perfectly.

Silver accessories completed her look.

Nicole Kidman In Prada – The Oprah Winfrey Show

Despite Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban appearing on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ last month, they were both guests on her show again today.

This time they were in Nicole’s home town Sydney, Australia.

Nicole wore a gorgeous white Prada Resort 2011 dress.

Her white silk fluted sleeve dress is very much on trend as we’ve seen a lot of stars wearing white recently.

Unlike most stars Nicole didn’t opt for a predictable shoe choice. She added red peep-toes to her look.

We don’t often see Nicole wear much jewelry, so it was interesting that she added a statement necklace and gold bracelets to her look.

Oprah is in Australia filming her show at the Sydney Opera House. She selected 12,000 audience members from 350,000 applicants to participate in two tapings.

Winfrey will produce four shows for her 25th and final season of the program. The episodes will air in January 2011.

Sidewalk ‘London’ Style – Kristen Bell

As you know Kristen Bell is in London for the “Burlesque” London Premiere.

She’s been spotted out and about town looking very stylish whilst leaving Claridges hotel in Mayfair.

On Monday she was spotted arriving back to her hotel wearing a Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2011 look.

Her orange silk shirt was paired with white wide-legged pants.

She didn’t totally rip the runway. She added a chocolate brown Salvatore Ferragamo shoulder bag to her look.

I would have taken the pants up about 2 inches or so.

On Saturday Kristen was spotted arriving at her hotel wearing an adorable chiffon chain dress with an asymmetrical hem from Topshop US and Topshop International. Read more…

Reese Witherspoon In Zac Posen – “How Do You Know” LA Premiere

Reese Witherspoon looked surprisingly sassy and sexy on the red carpet for the LA Premiere for “How Do You Know” last night.

She worked the hell out of this Zac Posen Spring 2011 strapless dress which I had mentally reserved for Megan Fox.

Had you told me beforehand that Reese was going to wear this strapless sheer bustier dress with pink feather detailing, I would’ve been worried that she would suck the life out of it and make it look ordinary.

If anything the dress has given her a new lease of life. Now if we could only get her to do something new with her hair.

YSL Tribtoo patent leather pumps completed her look.
