I love all types of fashion, but Lady GaGa’s style admittedly became a little bit too crazy for my liking.
That all changed when I saw her wearing this stunning Jan Taminiau Fall 2010 Couture look whilst out in Paris yesterday.
The silk chiffon and satin crepe dress with an embellished bodice was paired with a wool crepe coat.
I’m not sure why GaGa decided to add pearls to a high neckline which is heavily embellished, but it’s a beautiful addition to her look.
Jan Taminiau’s craftsmanship and attention to detail shouldn’t only been seen in the glossy pages of editorials, so although GaGa is lacking height to really pull off this look, I love how she’s brought this look to life.

This makes me really happy!
xx.
It is So much better on the runway. lady GaGa looks dead, or as if she is wearing vampy victorian lingerie but i agree the necklace was a good addition.
love the look but i’m somewhat over her fashion choices and pearls are highly questionable.
hate it she always makes beautiful clothes look like bad fancy dress costumes.
Yep. I agree. I HATE how she opened it up to reveal cleavage or in her case, sickly skin.
I agree. The cleavage makes the look tacky!
Agreed.
Totally agree. She ruined it.
I am so over Lady gaga. Actually I was never really into her to begin with.
Ditto.
Same.
I’m totally in love with this look.
I love most of Gaga’s looks.
Crazy or not.. At least she’s creative and takes her role as Fashion Idol very “seriously”.
She’s swimming in it a bit, but I still love her – applause, applause! (I do love the runway presentation a lot…)
Gary Oldman’s Dracula, is that you?
I was thinking the same thing.
hahahah me too
A glimpse of her shoes. Also by Jan Taminiau

how does she walk in them?
i’ve been trying to work that out for the longest time…. kudos to her.
You can see in the picture how she walks in them: There’s always someone supporting her so she doesn’t fall flat on her face.
That said, yay for Jan Taminiau for creating a beautiful dress, hope to see his designs on someone with more class someday. He makes us Dutch proud
Yay! Finally some recognition for one of Holland’s top designers, thank you GaGa!
AGREE
Hate the glasses, the shoes and the cleavage (is it intentional, or just a gap because it’s too big?), but otherwise I really like this gown on Gaga. It looks lovely with her coloring.
Why do I have visions of Carol Burnett’s spoof of Gone With the Wind in my head?
But this is Lady GaGa. So unfair to critique someone that has made crazy their business. I think that she pulled it off.
Who’s the hunk? Her bodyguard? Forget GaGa!
I love it – sort of Dowager meets Marie Antoinette!
It’s Gary Oldman playing Bram Stoker in Dracula.
Oh damn, someone beat me to it! But the resemblance is frightening.
i wish that tilda switon wore this… on her it would be epic… it’s not that bad on gaga but i think she doesn’t do it justice…
I Love Jan Taminiau Whole Collection!!! This Is One Of My Favorite Pieces! GaGa Looks Okay But The Runway Version Is Stunning!! Paris Fashion Is Truly Superb!!
I’m not loving the glasses, but otherwise I love it!! I love how she works “crazy” into fashion. Makes us not fall asleep all the time. She’s so much more interesting than most celebs out there.
