What an honour!
I went through all the best dressed posts and picked 5 gowns which really stood out. 3 ot these gowns were worn by Asian actresses. However, my pick of the 5 was Odette Yustman in J. Mendel for the “You Again” LA Premiere. The colour was eye-popping and she oozed self confidence. Perfection.
My absolute favorite is (I suspect you already got it a few times before) Cate Blanchett’s Christian Lacroix at the SKII’s “Clear for Life” Event. I’m happy to know we can vote several times, though!

Without looking through all the polls that’s the only gown I could remember that made me breathless! And after going through all the pages it’s still my clear winner.
Cannes FF did have some real beauties and of course award season produced a few as well, but in my book, no one came close to Queen Cate!!

I absolutely love BDOTY! Went through all the pages looking for my favorites, and I’ve sent their names in. Thing is there are some celebrities that were just outstanding all year long, but they didn’t have any real SUPER jaw-dropping moment, you know? I mean celebs like Emma Watson, Olivia Palermo, Eva Mendez and Anne Hathaway who you can always depend on to bring something stunning to the red carpet. i hope people don’t judge me for voting for robert pattinson in gucci at the twilight LA premiere. gemma arterton in gucci at the tamara drewe london premiere was also so stunning.
Oh my goodness I was close to tears when I did this. It was harder than I thought it would be, I even copy and pasted my favourites onto a power point and deleted them one by one. I voted for fan Bingbing, simpyl because I lvoed it SO much, it is so unique, she wore it with integrity and alot of grace adn elegance. Kate bosworth in Jil Sander was definitely runner up, she also had elegance and integrity to wear it, but I am that bit more in Love with Fan Bingbing’s amazing dress, and I have yet to forget it since she wore it.
FC, I think we should be allwoed multiple votes, because I actually cancelled a date to do this (first a powerpoint then a date cancellation – my life is VERY sad), thereby multiple choices would make it easier. Pretty Please?

I see Fan has been praised here, but the one Fan look that made me melt, turn green with envy and celebrate was her Elie Saab nude silk mousseline pleated Elie Saab Spring 2009 Couture gown with an embellished bodice at the 2010 Canne sFim Festival “Chongqing Blues†premiere.
