Kylie Minogue attended the 40 Principales Awards 2010 in Madrid, Spain recently.
She channeled her inner Kate Moss by opting to wear Balmain.
Black leather pants, a purple Balmain feather jacket from the Fall 2010 collection and a striped sleeveless Balmain Spring 2011 top with a black and grey American flag print were the key elements of her rock chick look.
Kylie is never far from anything by YSL, so she added Tribute pumps to complete her look.

I like this look. Rocker chic for me b/c she uses just one OTT piece instead of several competing pieces. The line between hot and a hot mess is a thin one indeed. Kylie stays on the right side of the line IMO.

Haha! But she actually has done some edgy looks, like her Mark Fast looks and a few Jean Paul Gaultier looks. But I prefer girly Kylie over edgy Kylie any day.
Kylie Minogue and rock chic are polar opposites. Her repetoire over the years has focused hugely on boppy pop/dance songs more suited to her girly voice. A rock chick she isn’t, so this ensemble looks plain silly.
I like the look. Very casual. HOwever, I wish the jacket was more streamlined and not so bulky. And, the hair really doesn’t match the look.
Unfortunately, that’s alot of money to make her look as though she bought the clothes from Forever 21.
