This week Creative Director Emma Hill hosted an exclusive garden party in the grounds of The Swifts; an historic gothic house in Sydney, Australia.
The event celebrated the opening of the first Mulberry store in Australia.
Guests including Krew Boylan, Emma Lung, Jessica Gomes, Georgie Wass, Nicole Trunfino, Samantha Harris and Pia Miranda.
They all looked very happy as they are decked out head-to-toe in the Mulberry Spring 2011 collection including their shoes and lust-worthy bags.
Jessica Gomes is carrying the purple print ‘Alexa’ bag I adore and Emma Hill is carrying the gold embellished Mulberry bag I covet.
The store is located at the Westfield Shopping Centre, Shop 3049, 188 Pitt Street, Sydney, Australia.

not really fond of the clothes but the bags are gorgeous. i love that small-ish pink one.

We have had many of these well known overseas brands/designers opening stores in the last two years in Melbourne and Sydney. It could be consumer driven but our strong economy may also have something to do with it. I wonder what the effect will be on local designers. A tip is to do your research and buy online. With the strong Aussie dollar, you get a MUCH better deal than buying the same thing locally. I was coveting a Westwood jacket I saw in a a major department store here and saw it for almost half the price on net-a-porter.
