Katy Perry In Issa – Change Begins From Within Event

Katy Perry attended the 2nd Annual “Change Begins Within” Benefit Celebration Presented By The David Lynch Foundation this week in New York City.

The singer wore an Issa Fall 2010 one shoulder dress.

For the first time in a long time that I really don’t like a Katy Perry look.

I hate the print. There is just way too much going on.

I hope Katy isn’t on a slippery slide to dullsville; because this dress is does nothing for her.

have u seen pix of russel at that event? katy by herself is nothing special in this dress, but they coordinated again & her & russel in his rediculous purple outfit looked awesome together :)))

When I saw her pictures the other night, I thought the look was bold and sophisticated.

I really like this look for her. It mixes her kooky side with the print and the demure look with the length of the dress. I also like that she wore a british designer to her husband’s charity

Yep. Always kudos when celebrities ode to charity.

I actually like it. The dress is longer on Katy, which I like plus the print is interesting.

she looks like a black haired kellie pickler in this photo, ngl. i like the dress but the bad extensions really bring this down

    • Linda December 15, 2010 at 19:08 #

I thought those were extensions…ratty ones.

So funny I saw the picture and said “Oh for once I don’t like this look…” and then read your comment!
Proportions are really weird there… and I really don’t like her hair!

I still want to marry her as soon as Russel and her split up though!!

I do like the print – it’s interesting and fun with a hint of shimmer. It has every aspects of her styling just more subtle that’s all.

Really? I actually like this look a lot .Would have thought it was a BDOTW nominee.

me too. I think it’s one of her best.

She would have worn this dress three years ago when she was confused about her style- probably as confused as the print on this dress. It is a typical Issa silhouette (Ms. Middleton would know) but the print is…lame?

    I like it.

I actually liked the dress, i think its great on her. but i do have a few gripes about the hair and its styling….

I actually really like the dress. I think that it addresses her quirky side while still looking elegant and sophisticated for the event. She can’t wear performance outfits to everything.

I personally like the print. But I don’t like the one shoulder style. It looks frumpy.

    I like Katy Perry… she’s like a little girl playing dress-up. So far she was playing a kooky-attention-seeking-pop-star. Now she’s playing grown-up-married-lady-who’s-still-fun-and-sexy.

I totally agree with you, FC. The print of the dress is very ugly, also not right for an evening gown.
