Krysten Ritter attended the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards which took place at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California this weekend.
The ‘Gravity’ actress wore an ethereal Alberta Ferretti chiffon dress from the Spring 2011 collection.
Her floral print dress with flutter cap sleeves has been lined from the sheer runway version.
I loved this dress on the runway, but I don’t feel the same excitement when seeing it on Krysten.
I’m not sure if that’s because of the lining which takes away the lightness of this dress, or because Krysten isn’t breathing much life into this dress.
Krysten accessorized with a bronze bracelet and a tan Jimmy Choo’ Prince’ clutch.

I think it’s because she’s really pale and thus she sorts of blends in with the dress.
She’s lovely though.
I agree. I like Kristen in Alberta Ferrettti. I think it an excellent fit. Kristen has a retro vibe to her style, and this dress works. It reminds me of a great find at a vintage store.
wrong colour for her skin tone?
She looks like a ghost. Why do starlets insist on washing themselves out?
I think that the dress doesnt suit her pale skin. I was kinda hoping for Lea Michelle to wear this dress.
Ive hardly heard of her and yet she still gets a Spring 2011 look. I hate her!
Yes…Lea Michelle would’ve looked amazing in this. damn
i kind of thought her dress was going to wash her out completely, but the red/pink lip makes her stand out, but her skin is so pale, i would have worn a morn stand-out color
i think she looks lovely. she looks washed out but for some reason…it adds to that whole ethereal look of the dress. i think she carries the dress very well, really suirs her style.
this is catwalk granny nightie chic! hate it.
Wow, she has a slight “Anne Hathaway” look/vibe in this picture, n’est pas?
Yes, I thought that too….
her coloring and the big eyes and lips… I was confused her with Anne at first… I love how they do not fall in to the tanning bucket coming out looking like an orange, but she could have found a dress just as delicate looking in a different color, and also she is young enough to play with transparent dresses
mari, you said it perfectly!
was about to say so!
she’s so white! this color of dress doesn’t do her any favor!
and that print looks like a old table cover!
I actually really like this. Maybe it’s because I have a soft spot for her after watching Breaking Bad, but I kind of thought ‘BDOTW nominee’ in my head after seeing this. Lol, and I don’t even usually go for floral. IDK. *shrugs*
…Looking at it again, I suppose it might wash her out a bit, but I’m just really used to her looking pale, so it kinda doesn’t register. Lol, I just really love Krysten Ritter.
I love her! Ran into her at a restaurant in LA last week, she has excellent street style
The dress is lighter in colour than th erunway one, so it needs a tan even more than it did before. It is scarily bad.
It looks a little cheap on her but not on the runway. I agree that the lining has probably made it too heavy. It’s looking a little like curtains.
Well my neice looks good in anything as usual. She just has what all designers want to show well
