Katie Cassidy looked very chic at the 2010 Hollywood Style Awards which took place at the Hammer Museum in Westwood, California this weekend.
Prior to her stint in ‘Gossip Girl’, Katie used to wear a lot of fitted mini dresses, but on this occasion she opted for an Edition by Georges Chakra Fall 2010 gown.
Her glorious black gown had sexy lace panels on the bodice and running down both sides of her dress. These lace panels were embellished with beaded details.
Katie kept her accessories very simple by adding a black clutch and diamond bracelet.

i love this look. the dress is beautiful and looks better on katie than on the model due to the natural make=up. it makes the look less gothic – more modern.
This would have been the perfect gothic look, though. I would have DIED to see it on someone like Eva Green.
Oh, on Eva – that would have been perfection! With all the hair, teeth and tan, the lace panels at the sides are kind of trashy on Katie.
I think it’ll be better if the side laces aren’t that wide.. it’ll be classier and more beautiful..

I really love the look of this dress from the front in the first photo. The fit is fantastic and really compliments her figure. However, this is before I saw the side panels. It would be more tasteful if they were narrower.

Is it just me or is a dress that brazenly tells the world “Im not wearing any underwear” a tad trashy?
I really do not like this look. I lvoe underwear, and a complete absence of it is jsut wrong in my books. I also find the lace is nto delicate enough at all for this kind of look, especially in black. very christina aguilera. The final nail in the coffin pour moi is the random postcard breast covers. NO, JUST NO!
