Florence Welch In Elie Saab Couture – Nobel Peace Prize Concert

Florence Welch was one of the many performers to take the stage at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert held in Oslo, Norway this weekend.

The red haired singer wore a stunning lemon Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture gown.

Her chiffon batwing sleeved gown was dripping with gorgeous embellished details with floral appliqués added around the hips on the hem.

A big voice needs a big gown.

I love that she wasn’t afraid to wear this colour with her pale skin and red hair. On paper it shouldn’t have work, but she looks outstanding.

I think she looks great. Saw her wear a stunning VB beige gown performing on Dancing with the Stars. This girl likes fashion.

She looks like an absolute goddess in this gown, her height and confidence helps her pull off the look. Totally amazing.

Amazing, in theory you wild think this colour would not work for her but she somehow makes it work wonders. Beautiful.

I am not too sure about this. I love the dress, but I don’t like her in it. It looks so good on the model, but I find that whomever this woman is looks old. Too old for the dress.

‘too old’ seems a bit rough – she’s only 24!

Well, I have never heard of her. She looks like she’s in her 40s. I’ll be 40 in a few years, and she looks older than me. I would have NEVER guessed that she was in her 20s. Maybe it’s not a good picture.

I think florence is also very courageous with fashion. She is nto for everyone, but you cannot deny she puts effort into what she wears. I doubt anyone else would have worn this dress, so it is fitting someone as powerful and statuesque like florence wore it, especially when she wore it so well.
P.S. I love the phrase on paper 🙂

I agree – Florence’s height and presence allow her to pull off some very brave choices. This is beautiful

BDOTW worthy. Elie Saab and Florence Welch are a perfect match. I am in love.
