The Nobel Peace Prize Concert took place in Olso, Norway this weekend and we were treated to a double dose of Hollywood glamour from Anne Hathaway.
Many of you have questioned her recent red carpet looks, but Princess Anne totally redeems herself.
Anne hosted the concert with Denzel Washington. No doubt this will be great practice for the Oscars which she will be hosting next year.
She looked beautiful wearing a J. Mendel Fall 2010 gown.
Her metallic strapless gown has a sexy thigh-high split – as sported by Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham and Carrie Underwood last week – which she wore with black Jimmy Choo ‘Nuala’ sandals.
The old Hollywood look was complete with marcel waves, diamond drop earrings and a matching bracelet.
At the Nobel Peace Prize Banquet, Anne looked even more beautiful wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 gown.
Her red heart printed silk chiffon asymmetrical one shoulder gown has a ruffled hem.
She perfectly complemented her look with a Roger Vivier red satin clutch and dazzling jewels.
Her Oscar de la Renta dress deserves a place on the BDOTW poll.

i think she needs to pull her shoulders back more, the shrugging posture doesn’t look good, and i just don’t like the first gown. Second one is refreshing

Love the second dress. The first dress, not so much, and it’s not her, it’s the dress. It’s awfully high waisted and adds bulk around the middle (on both her and the model). The hair and make up is lovely in the first look, though.

I agree the problem with the J Mendel dress is the proportions – Anne has a relatively short body and long legs, and the dress over-emphasises this so that she looks out of proportion.
The Oscar de la Renta is perfection on Anne. Not many could make that pattern work, but on Anne there is no question at all that it enhances her and she enhances it.
I completely agree. She’s small-busted and short through the torso. The first dress is a lesson in how not to dress her body shape, but the second is beautiful on her. Love prints on the RC, and love her accessories here.

I love the OScar DLR dress SO much more than th J mendel look. Her posture is terrible and always puts me off her looks when she is slumped like that. Also, i think feet change everything, and I expect manicured, elegant feet all the time, so they turn me off completely.
Oscar De La Renta is the perfect fit for Anne. I think that she would be a perfect Brand Amassdor

I love the second dress. She looks so pretty in it. However, it’s not very fall/winter. It’s a little too spring for my taste.
