Amy Adams was in New York City to attend a screening of her new film “The Fighter” to benefit the Cinema School.
The actress wore one of my favourite looks from Roland Mouret’s Spring 2011 collection.
I do prefer the runway teal colour, but I also love Amy’s black shorter length version.
The plunging black Roland Mouret dress looks very chic on the new mum.
It looks like she getting back into the swing of dressing for the red carpet.
A Roland Mouret dress is never as simple as it seems.
From the back you can see that the dress has a sexy open back.

Awww, lovely dress. The opening on the back is subtly sexy, I like it a lot.
me too, and she wears it very well
i love that they shortened the skirt and fitted it a bit, but i agree the the teal would have been much better. I think it could have worked with her hair and colour.
She looks good but I think she could have pulled off the blue.
I had a smile when I saw the picture from the open back. Yes it was delightful ‘cos it was in a way I didn’t think about when I read your sentence. This man is a genius.
It is good to see she is getting back into it -what acomeback her body has made already, not a subtle dress to show us but still! I would have loved the teal version, or some more jewellery, this dress cannot stand alone.
Maybe it is just to dark to make out details, but from this photo… boring and ill fitting.
I love the dress and the modifications. She needed the shorter length because she’s short. I only wish that Amy had worn the blue. It would have gone great with her hair color.
So glad to have Roland Mouret back, but I’m not loving this look. It;s a little bit sack for such a form fitting frock.
I do like the dress on her but I would have loved a bit of bling to go with the dress
I would have loved this dress in navy blue with a pair of deep purple shoes.
I think the blue on the model is great but the black on Amy is so boring. Not a bad look, just really boring.
