It’s always a pleasure to see Michelle Monaghan on the red carpet, as she’s always full of energy and possesses great style which is never forced, false or contrived.
Last night she attended the “Somewhere” LA Premiere with a host of other stars.
She did her best to stand out by showing off her toned legs wearing a pretty ruffled Lanvin Resort 2011 mini dress.
The actress let her purple dress do all the talking by adding a simple bracelet and nude sandals to her look.

This is how you do ruffles imo (yes, I’m talking to you, Eva).
Love the details of the sandals too.
nice- that’s a good shade of purple, esp with herskin tone and hair color
Yes, it’s a great colour on her, and I’m glad she kept the accessories so minimal to let it shine.
What a lovely dress! I really do lover her on the red carpet, she really understands the power of a dress alone, and compliments it with great accessories. She always looks very fresh if that makes any sense.
That makes total sense. She and her stylist know how to work well together. She doesn’t let stylists dominate her choices. Love how her side swept hair works with the wave of the dress.
Great point about the side swept hair mimicking the dress.
Yes, fresh is a good word, also always original and beautiful.
sthing is missing, maybe a turquoise earrings a la cameron diaz could work!
Usually I don’t like dresses like this, but Michelle is changing my mind. Maybe it’s because she is working it and exuding confidence. Michelle looks good, and she knows it.
I hate to be contrary, but I don’t like this at all. It looks like she is going to a school dance.I think this looks cutsey & juvenile and too much like a poofy 80′s prom dress.
A great look but I dont like the bottom half. I do however like her hair like this
