Demure Katy Perry is steadily growing on me.
I hope kooky Katy comes out to play every now and then, but when I see Katy and her hubby Russell Brand on the red carpet at “The Tempest” LA Premiere I get that they so happy and content that they no longer feel the need to draw attention to themselves.
She was glowing wearing a Elie Saab Couture Spring 2010 Couture gown last night.
The layered lace lilac one-shoulder gown with subtle embellished detailing was paired with a matching clutch and bracelets.
I love how their looks complement each other, as matching looks tend to be a bit cheesy.
She paired the gown with nude peep-toe suede platforms from the Elie Saab Spring 2011 collection.
Definitely a BDOTW contender for me as I don’t think I’ve seen her look so beautiful.

Katy looks beautiful.. but silver vest,silver blazer, silver trousers, silver shoes.. Russel brand is definitely not complementing her lovely dress.. and definitely not over the attention grabbing phase..
She looks very good. I like her hair. I still hope that she won’t put down crazy stuff, but it is great to show this side of her too.
And Russel’s look isn’t silver it may have that shine because of fabric but color is definitely not silver and it goes together with her dress because dress to has that cold shine .

One thing is bothering me and it’s the one shoulder. Katy is very busty and there’s nothing wrong with that. But busty ladies have to be careful about the one-shouldered dresses they select or else their boobs will go the wrong direction. I do like the color on her. It’s perfect for winter.

I love this look, it doesn;t look like KAty perry, so the fact it is her will have a while to sink in yet, but she looks gorgeous.
