Many of you have noted that the usually flamboyant Katy Perry has been working a more demure look on the red carpet lately, but are you loving or hating it?
Katy Perry looked sensational as she walked the red carpet at KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2010 in LA this weekend.
She wore a purple Zuhair Murad Fall 2010 dress.
Mrs Brand glowed in her gorgeous deep purple silk banded cocktail dress with embellished lace sleeves and skirt.
The look was paired with nude Brian Atwood nude heels.
Does anyone else feel that a year ago Katy may have worn this dress without the lace portions?

Well I do love it when it s that good!
I’m hating the length of the dress both on Katy and the model, but that’s more like a personal opinion.
Other than that it’s a pretty good look, although I miss the old Katy…
Me too!! It’s a horrible dress… and Katie should have worn it a year ago without the lace portion down at the bottom.
Someone please make a law against wearing nude Brian Atwood’s with something that deserves much better shoes.
The dress is beautiful and I love the color, but I really miss old Katy, because she looked like she had a LOT of fun in those Blonds corsets and other risky dresses
I like this dress on Katy, but yeah, I feel like it should be a little shorter, and she kind of let us down with the shoes.
the lace part looks fine on the model but im just not loving it on katy
Purple is beautiful on her. She looks great.
As usual with her, all you need is to put some ice skates on her feet and she’s ready for the winter olympics.
LOL….you’re not wrong.
LOL … that was funny!
I totally agree.
This shows that she doesn’t need to wear her personality it shines through regardless.
I love this new Katy. Trashy Vegas Pin-up girl look got OLD. I like this more…demure…approach. And here the nude Atwoods ARE NOT the Antichrist so calm down about them here.
She was getting desperate fashion-wise so I’m glad she toned it down.
I think these more demure looks can be attributed to her getting married. I kinda like this new side of her. She’s stunning.
I like a happy medium, she is beggining to be matronly, I like dthe cute unique cheekiness you would sometimes get with her, and I feel lik enext outfit is goignto be a knee length colourful, maybe partially sheer dress, probably long sleeved, high neckline, with nude pumps. I just forsee a Nicole Kidman 2.0. I miss aspects of the old katy, but I do love this dress, with the belt, a slightly (minutely) shorter hem, less boring hair, interesting shoes and a better pose.
I loveeeee her new style, it flatters her figure so well and she still looks sassy!
she has been dressing more lady since her wedding.like the color!but i don’t like the shoes.
She looks very pretty but I miss Crazy Katy.
I don’t like the lace at the hem. It could have been taken off. Other than that, I like it on her. And , I really like that she is saving the weird outfits for performances.
I like the look but I miss Cooky Katy
a year ago I would have worried that she would have worn the lace portion without the lining underneath!
she makes this look tacky and her hair is falling flat and dull
I like it!!! Maybe now that she’s a married woman she wants to dress better…
I don’t like the length of the dress, but other than that I think it’s a gorgeous look. The nude heels don’t even bother me that much.
I really like the dress. I thought Katy looked amazing, but I don’t know why I prefer the dress on the model.
lebanese desinger i love you
