Michelle Monaghan arrived at the Children’s Defense Fund California’s 20th Annual Beat The Odds Awards at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA last night.
The brunette actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic khaki green dress from the Fall 2010 collection.
Whilst the dress may not immediately float our boats, you should remember that this was a children’s’ charity event.
It may lack glamour but it’s appropriate for the occasion, and it’s not a Herve Leger bandage dress with a plunging neckline – yes Jennifer Lopez we’re looking at you.
Michelle’s long silk dark khaki green Roksanda Ilincic dress has a bateau neckline and a dropped back with waterfall draping.
Her look was paired with Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps and a gold bracelet.

Me no likey! Maybe with other accessories, shoes, belt or necklace…
Fair point re event-appropriate… but could’ve been a bit more inventive with the shoes! (as ever!)
I love it! Simple glamour, beautiful colour, beautiful beautiful material.
It may be a touch too long, but I think this looks beautiful on Michelle.
Oy.
Silk is so unflattering draped this way. It looks bad on both her and the model. This look is in real need for some color.
It’s simple and beautiful!
I like this. I think this dress flatters her and it good for the occasion.
But I don’t like her pumps. Satin Charlotte Olympia pumps would be IDEAL for this look.
Yes! I actually like the dress on her, but the heavy black shoes do nothing for its subtle colouring. Earrings would have been nice, too.
I am surprised the dress isnt wrinkled. So it can be done
I like the dress alot, I think she looks nice but some earrings would have also been a nice addition.
I really like Roksanda’s dresses!
I understand that this is for a children’s charity event, but she could have worn a dress witha little more oomph. Or just accessorized it better. She needs a larger bracelet, some earrings, jazzier shoes, and a clutch.
This is just boring.
Im loving the colour and I love how consistent Michelle has been on the red carpet this year
Perfect look for an event like this. To me, a woman who dresses like J. Lo for events like these is ridiculous and desperately needs to prove that she’s (still) sexy.
I like that she wore black pumps with this dress. It’s simple yet very elegant.
