This afternoon in New York City Lea Michele attended the 5th Annual Billboard Women in Music Awards.
The singer/actress looked stunning on the red carpet wearing a Giorgio Armani Resort 2011 ivory dress.
Her strapless dress has been slightly modified from the version the model is wearing as her dress doesn’t have the sequined bodice and it has one less tier, but they both have that beautifully structured tiered skirt.
I would’ve been devastated had it lost its shape, so kudos to Lea for not crushing that detail.
This dress is a typically well structured dress by Mr Armani. I also love the fold detail on the bodice.
Lea’s look will definitely be added to the BDOTW poll.
She can be hit and miss at times, but this refined, elegant, sophisticated looks is an absolute hit.
This is one of my favourite ever look for Lea.

Love love love. And I like the color change for Lea. The only thing I’m not so fond of is her facial expression in this pic. Still, it definitely deserves a spot in the BDOTW poll.
I agree. I don’t know why but her face always looks weird when she’s not smiling – she should smile more.
She looks lovely but I think I would have liked to have seen the navy blue on her. I think that color wouldbe more flattering against her skintone.

This is the only time other than her memorable Ramona Keveza that she has dressed to her body type – the skirt balances out her broad shoulders beautifully. Now if she could somehow look a bit less smug I might actually warm up to her.

I like this color, but i wish that she would have worn the navy. Still my best dressed though!
I wish she wore the blue version. The flounces would be more entrancing and vivid.
She looks beautiful. On paper it shouldnt have worked, but in practice it is amazing! Not my favourite look of the week (inevitably in a week like this). I really love hte runway version, though, and I hope it will still be worn, as i am partial to sequins and navy blue. A slightly higher waist, less pouty lips one piece of jewellery and sligthly better shoes (but they are acceptable) and I would have been on the floor, probably.
she looks great, although i prefer the navy. But frankly i just don’t like this girl – her head is too far up her own backside for my liking!
agree, and such a big head too… a bit more meat on those bones might do her good. i watch glee, and i keep wondering at how ugly she gets when she sings as opposed to how pretty she is when she justs stands there quietly in photographs…
I really would’ve loved to see the runway version on her. But the nude dress is fabulous as well & she looks beautiful too.

Because it was a music awards show, Lea should have worn the blue. For me, the nude version is too refined for the music show.
However, this dress is very Lea. I wish that she would have stepped out of the box, but I like both versions.

I love the way this dress was modified, especially the folded detail at the top of the bodice which helps to make up for the fewer flounced layers in the skirt – I think she’s a good addition to the BDOTW poll….
Beautifully designed dress and is very flattering on Lea’s petite figure. If I remember correctly it is similar to the one Scarlett Johansson wore to the premiere of Iron Man 2.

i think that she would have looked better with the navy version, but she looks elegant, anyway. I start to really dislike tattoos on the feet.

She looks good with the dress although if she’s a bit tan, the colour would look better on her, but one thing I can’t ignore? her facial expressions. So weird and awkward.
