Ksenia Solo In Romona Keveza – “Black Swan” New York Premiere

I don’t know much about Latvian born actress Ksenia Solo, but I do know her now due to her stunning turn on the red carpet at the “Black Swan” New York Premiere last night.

Ksenia was not going to be left in the shade by her more famous co-stars on her big night, so she wore a breath-taking Romona Keveza gown.

The up and coming actress looked ravishing in her red silk chiffon gown with draped one-shoulder, sweetheart neckline and draped skirt.

Her BDOTW worthy gown fits her like a glove.

She’s an absolute vision of perfection.

I won’t be surprised if some of you say this dress is very similar to Camilla Belle’s Met Gala gown, but Ksenia’s dress has a skirt which fits closer to her body.

Now this is a WOW moment.
Just gorgeous, breathtaking, this is going in my best dress of the year list.

I don’t know her either but WERQUE!
Stunning gown, flawless make-up, attitude for days.

      I couldn’t agree more!
      Perfect look! She looks stunning.

  4. Suz December 1, 2010 at 20:22 #

Perfection is right! BDOTW for me.

  5. Beata December 1, 2010 at 20:25 #

Gorgeous!!! This color looks amazing on her.

  6. Moxie December 1, 2010 at 20:27 #

Definitely a BDOTW contender! She looks stunning.

  7. Laura December 1, 2010 at 20:28 #

Beautiful. The color is stunning on her, and the silhouette is gorgeous. Absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.

  8. sevenstories December 1, 2010 at 20:34 #

The dress is AMAZING but dare I say it, I think her hair and makeup is slightly severe. I think I would have preferred a softer hairdo/softer makeup or maybe a smile!

    • noo December 1, 2010 at 20:47 #

but i think that she and natalie portman did their makeup based on the black swan from the movie poster

  9. Snarky_sharky December 1, 2010 at 20:35 #

That is WOW – stunning look. I really liked Nataly Portman’s black-dress-rouge-lips look but this dramatic red one easily tops it

    • sevenstories December 1, 2010 at 20:56 #

Hmm.. I don’t think Natalie looked as great as she normally does. The dress didn’t fit very well and made her look rather chunky in my opinion…

  10. noo December 1, 2010 at 20:41 #

thank you very much :D i have been googling jason wu all day trying to find out if this is another version of camailla belle’s gown!!!!!!! Now i can finally sleep :D

  11. Ethne Blist December 1, 2010 at 20:44 #

Totally BDOTW worthy. I am in love with this look.

  12. sara December 1, 2010 at 20:53 #

I was waiting for you to post this. Love it! I’m still hoping you will make a post about Laura Brent at Narnia’s premiere.

  13. Mario December 1, 2010 at 21:06 #

Actually this more reminds me of Diane’s mustard Wu dress :)

  14. dee December 1, 2010 at 21:07 #

Stunning and red is my favorite color too. BDOTW candidate.

  15. zoe December 1, 2010 at 21:22 #

OMG! she is my best dressed of the week. class, taste, elegance, beauty! loving it! i want that dress O.O, she wears it soooo well.

  16. mol December 1, 2010 at 21:33 #

Wow – possible best dressed of the week moment….

  17. Brooke December 1, 2010 at 21:36 #

FC, thank you for being the ONLY fashion site on which I’ve seen this ravishing beauty. I appreciate how you post fashion based on worth and not bold face names alone. She far outshone Portman on this night. And I think this dress is a superior incarnation to the Wu; the more structured bodice and closer fit are just superb.

    • Fashion Critic December 1, 2010 at 21:51 #

As you know it’s all about the gown for me, the celebrity is secondary x

    • KateS December 2, 2010 at 04:13 #

ditto to Brooke’s comment. This woman in this dress is perfection.

  18. adrien December 1, 2010 at 21:47 #

    She s a knock out!!
    Head to toe perfection…

    • Linda December 2, 2010 at 01:17 #

Knock out is the word that came to my mind too. This is perfection, maybe even could be best dress of the year, it’s that amazing…

      • adrien December 2, 2010 at 10:28 #

She s on my list for sure!!!

  19. Chanel December 1, 2010 at 21:49 #

    BDOTW. Stunning.
How can a dress fit someone so perfectly?

  20. marian December 1, 2010 at 22:03 #

    amazing. just amazing.

  21. Courteney December 1, 2010 at 22:08 #

  23. Tania December 1, 2010 at 22:20 #

    wow! BDOTW contender

  24. Fiona December 1, 2010 at 22:58 #

Stunning – definitely she is wearing the dress not the other way around. Her ballet training has given her a beautiful carriage and she wears this gown to perfection. I love a dress that fits properly, love the colour and her elegant timeless hair and makeup. Bravo – BDOTW for sure, even though we see a lot of red dresses this is the tops.

  25. mochababe73 December 1, 2010 at 22:59 #

Beautiful. The color looks amazing on her. I like that she pulled back her hair and didn’t wear a necklace.
I don’t often say this, but she should definitely be on the this week’s best dressed list.

  26. CreoleLady December 1, 2010 at 23:10 #

I have truly enjoyed the variety of great looks so far this week. This look outshines them all, at least for me. What a jampacked BDOTW it’s going to be …

  27. Hannah December 1, 2010 at 23:27 #

I adore that you can overlook the celebrity, and how famous she is, because I think that is regardless when dressed like this. She is so graceful elegant, yet powerful at the same time. She has a commanding presence. Again, this is what I love about your blog, you really are unlikely to see suchbeautiful looks when it is not a kardashion or cheryl cole, let alone such eloquent, well-informed and honest opinions. Thankyou xx

    • Fashion Critic December 1, 2010 at 23:48 #

      Thanks sweetie xxx

  28. Marvel December 1, 2010 at 23:43 #

    BDOTW for me

Best Dresses of the event as well

  29. Giuseppi Giraffe December 2, 2010 at 00:54 #

This is amazing! Breathtaking, glamorous, absolutely perfect! This is just a perfect red carpet moment. Absolutely perfect. Okay, I’m done gushing now.

    Definitely BDOTW.

  30. Ally December 2, 2010 at 01:03 #

Wow, she looks almost unrecognizable! She is far from the curly haired teenager she plays on Life UnExpected. Unless someone pulls out something crazy amazing, this is BDOTW. LOVE.

  31. micheline December 2, 2010 at 04:22 #

Wow. For me, possibly best dressed of the year.

  32. Rita December 2, 2010 at 05:27 #

Perfection, Amazing, red is totally her color

  33. Emma December 2, 2010 at 06:43 #

I actually caught my breath when I saw this. Absolutely stunning. One of the most gorgeous gowns I have seen in a while!

  34. Emi December 2, 2010 at 09:48 #

This is one of the most beautiful gowns I’ve seen recently, I love the drapery, the fit is so perfect, the tone of red amazing. If I have to find a flaw in this look would be, maybe, the color of her lipstick, which seems to be a bit different from the color of the dress. She matched the nail polish, she could match the lipstick, too.

  35. klara December 2, 2010 at 10:23 #

wooow she looks sooooooo beautiful :) i dont know her but she is definetly a bdotw contender!
yes, the shape and form of the dress is similar to many gowns we already see, but nevertheless this is a wow-moment for me :) its perfect

  36. Jones19 December 2, 2010 at 11:50 #

Wowza girl you rocked this dress! Love her on LUX.

  38. Sophie December 6, 2010 at 09:46 #

Hair and makeup are VERY severe.
Hate to say it, but dress is a little boring. Not enough embellishment for me. It’s lacking something- either in the details or the cut.
