Amanda Peet attended the Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York this week, wearing a dress which looked much like nightie.
She was in fact wearing a Marc Jacobs Fall 2010 dress.
The lavender sheer dress in an interesting choice.
I don’t think it will be to everyone’s taste, but I think her navy velvet blazer and satin silver Marc Jacobs heels save the look.

Who Was Your Best Dressed At The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala?

It be an interesting choice if she took off the blazer and was placed on top of a cake
It fits in with her style from seeing her in the past, she often wears floaty clothes like this. She looks comfortable!
Awful! She looks like she just came from teaching school to Laura Ingalls and her sisters. Very Little House on the Prairie!
Meh. If she was going to a dress with such a loose silhouette it needed to be in some kind of color to make it stand out. This look isn’t working for me.
I don’t think that anything could save this look. Maybe if she wore a floor-length coat or just stayed home in her nightie.
i like this look for her, but i don’t really like the shoes they make her look like her hem is a tad too short, maybe it’s that last sheer panel that’s doing it.
Absolutely Hideous.
what did you think of winona ryder’s look to this event? i think it was dolce and gabbana!
