Natalie Portman attended the 2010 Gotham Independent Film Awards, which took place in New York City last night.
I was super excited to see her wearing my Lanvin for H&M dress.
Although we share the same asymmetrical eggplant dress with a puffy shoulder and black grosgrain waistband, we will not be styling the dress the same.
Mostly because I wish I could afford those dazzling Tiffany & Co. earrings, but also because I will not be pairing my dress with black pumps
This is a cute look for Natalie who also loves wearing the mainline collection.
A gorgeous silver Dior clutch completes her look.

Boring black pumps? Seriously? Gorgeous not black pumps would be Perfect. Not BDOTW. Nope.
I like her hair and makeup but not the dress on her. Seems a bit overpowering for her small frame and no wow factor. The shoes are a snooze too.
I rem her saying on project runway that she wudnt wear an asymmetric or one shouldered dress cos its just nt her style.. post a pic of u wearing this dress, FC and we will have who wore it better contest..
No point because I will win….
What shoes are you planning on wearing?
It’;s a stunning dress and I’m sure you’ll look amazing in it!
I confess, I’m curious too; I am sure this dress will look perfect on you, partly because of your height, which is exactly what Natalie, besides poor styling, lacks!
We’d still love a poll!
The way she held the clutch gave the look a funny shape to me. I like the dress, but I’m with you on the shoes.
yeah….THOSE black shoes, its horrible

but the clutch looks very nice
and the crease… come on ?!
I like the dress. Even though it is far from a simple, little black dress, Natalie could have paired it with some fabulous shoes.
Out of all the shoes that she could have chosen, I am not sure why she chose to wear plain, black pumps.
She could’ve picked more interesting shoes, but I’m already glad she wore suede shoes instead of smooth leather ones. This looks much softer!
I have that same dress as well….and of course I also bought the leopard shoes that lanvin did for h&m so would be wearing them with the dress….
apart from the dress what else did you buy from lanvin for h&m?
I have this dress too! I have been scanning hte internet for the past week now trying to find the perfect shoes and jewelery. I will not, I hope, wear this with black pumps, I do not own any, nor do I intend to. I also do not intend to wear this dress as creased as natalie has.
I like this look she looks cute .. nothing special but nice..
i love this dress i went to the opening here in DK H&M and everytime i have seen someone wear the collection their dresses looks so beautiful se but at the store i wanteed to cry when i saw how madly the sewing was because lavin is one of my favorite but this made me sad because the dresses are stunning but bad made at least in Denmark they were..
FC, Im curious to know what shoes you will be wearing. Do post a pic!!!
Seriously seriously post a pic
Yes, please.
GORGEOUS!!
Loving the red lips
I have this dress too…. but I will style mine better… lol…
Love this dress! Natalie looks great!!
Love it! I wish we have H&M here in Japan
She looked cute and chic.
safe look but i still love it coz its natalie portman.
Love the dress, hate it on her. Am I the only one who thinks that it’s kind of awful when celebs wear designer for high st collections?
I want them to be inspirational – I want them in the real thing – they can afford it (or borrow it) why take a fun limited edition away from someone who will never own a proper Lanvin? It’s kind of rude…
