When Rihanna went to collect her award for Best Soul/R&B Female at the 2010 American Music Awards, she looked divine wearing her second Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture gown of the night.
I adore her green draped one sleeve gown with a sexy thigh-high split.
She modified it to make the look her own by wearing the draped detail under her arm.
If I was ever lucky enough to wear such a gown I would’ve worn it the same way.
She was the real surprise of the night. I didn’t expect her to wow me the way she did.

lol I actually didn’t recognise her with the more natural looking hair! I don’t like this on her. It makes her look wide across the hips and thighs, and because of this the detailed draping as seen on the model is lost.
I agree, I don’t think it’s flattering on her at all considering she has such a great figure. Maybe it’s her stance in this particular photo but it looks like all the draping has been stretched out of the dress.

Reason I love this so much, is because i was getting tired in seeing her in studs, leather and weird shapes. This look suits her.

I am impressed. I usually roll my eyes at Rihanna, but here I am satisfied.
Wow – Rihanna can really change it up! I think she looks wonderful here, just maybe different shoes, but I like her own twist on the way she wore the dress, and the fact that she kept eveything else to a bare minimum – I’m imprewssed.
I like the original version of the dress better – especially for her and maybe the modified version on someone like Nicole Kidman or….
Great look for her, beautiful dress that is also interesting without being costume-y. Much much better than the red carpet look.
Not loving this look. But I think she gave the best live performance i have seen from her.
I don’t like the dress on her nor do I like the color. I actually like it better on the runway. The gown appears to be altered. The draping is different. And, I am not liking the hair. It ages her.
I don’t think it’s a great photo, but I do love this look on her. Normally she looks like she’s trying so hard that it bores me to tears, but I like this with the corkscrew curls.
