A week after the Lanvin for H&M press day, I was invited to view the H&M Spring 2011 collection which will be in stores the beginning of next year.
The vibe was very 60s/70s with brightly coloured pieces with short sharp shapes and romantic silhouettes.
I saw lots of floral prints, animal prints and funky graphic prints.
The key items for Spring will be their maxi dresses which was presented in a stunning hot pink colour, alongside a marine blue and a cream coloured maxi with a tribal print.
Blazers will also be key item to pair with maxi dress on cold summer nights or smarten up your day wear.
Coral, pink and salmon stood out the most for me. It’s definitely H&M colour of the season alongside navy, white, beige and yellow.

My favourite accessories were the leather and canvas bag plus the two-tone shoes with the gold heel.
There were lots of floral accessories including wedges, sandals and bags.
Their swimwear ranged from sexy animal prints to solid colours with gold accents.
Fringed suede boots would be perfectly matched with their cute leather tan shorts.
Bangles in various colours complement the collection and I loved the tribal statement necklaces.

Very interesting collection! I’m already lemming the bubble printed dress and the long ones. Beautiful!
me too
Loving the shorty shorts and cropped jacket combos, ditto the smudgy print maxi and that fab animal print bikini. Great collection, Vicky x
i love the collection, especially the maxi dresses and those leather-like shorts.. the sleek silhouettes of some of the pieces remind me of calvin klein.
This collection is amazing
Other than the caramel suede jacket and shorts, this collection is kind of meh. There are some individual pieces here that I’d like to have, but that’s about it. Their fall lookbook was a much bigger knock-out!
oooh lovely!
