Taylor Swift was in the UK this weekend to perform at BBC Radio 1′s Teen Awards in London on Sunday.
The singer arrived at the Hammersmith Apollo before later taking the stage wearing a Reiss “Sweetness” crochet lace dress.
Her dress is very cute and very Taylor.
I like the gold belt she added to her sugary sweet look, but I don’t like style of her shoes.
She performed her new hits “Speak Now” and “Mine” and “Love Story.

She is into “British” shoes- mary janes and oxford.
Oh really? I like the shoes. I think it’s very stylish now to pair brogues with casual looks. and these are more “feminine” because they are like mary janes. this look is also somewhere between casual and dressy, so it’s not exactly the place for sassy heels or flats.
I like the dress and shoes, but I am sooooo over Taylor Swift’s hair and makeup. She’s due for a change.

I really love the dress, and the addition of the belt, but the shoes are really not ok. I also hate her hair and makeup, it is all well and good for the red carpet, in certain dresses, but it feels really tried now, and this look just emphasises how much she needs a change.
I love when celebs wear fashion that is affordable for all – its a refreshing change! :
That said, if i had their money……..
Here’s the thing about Taylor: it’s always the same thing. Shiny or sweet and virginal. Her look doesn’t have a lot of diversity, and even if you have a certain style, you have to mix it up from time to time. This is a nice look, but a look I’ve seen countless times on her. I doubt it’ll stick in my mind for any length of time.

The dress reminds me of a tablecloth. I really don’t like it. And, I’m bored.
Taylor can do better.
Demure and pretty but lace is never going to wow, if that is the intention. I really like the shoes, but not with this dress.
Make that WHITE lace. The same cannot be said for black lace!
