Sarah Jessica Parker In Vivienne Westwood Gold Label – “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1″ New York Premiere

Sarah Jessica Parker was joined by her husband Matthew Broderick and her son James on the red carpet for the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1? New York Premiere last night.

Sarah celebrated the British movie by wearing a British designer.

The ‘Sex And The City’ actress wore a typically elaborate Vivienne Westwood Gold Label Spring 2011 corseted dress with a voluminous skirt.

SJP’s accessories really add a lot to her look. I love the embellished clutch and brooch detail.

SJP has long been a fan of Nicholas Kirkwood, but these have to be the most lust-worthy pair of his heels she’s ever worn.

I need these in my closet right now.

I love the colour, the metallic lace and the criss-cross laces.

She looks alot better than the last time. But I’m still not crazy about this look.

I love the shoes but she looks like she’s channeling HBC…I wonder if she was on the red carpet, as she was in the movie?

SJP is one of the few people who can pull this look off without looking too OTT. Love the shoes but not with the dress. They’re a little too heavy for a dress of this length.

Love the shoes and bag. The rest of the outfit not so much.

  7. ruth November 16, 2010 at 15:02 #

she totally shut it down. seriously.

J’adore aussi! In fact, I just love it all – dress clutch and shoes.

  9. Helen November 16, 2010 at 14:01 #

I love this look! This is why SJP became an Icon. She can do fashion and style in one look. She needs to introduce Carey to these shoes!!

  10. Nia November 16, 2010 at 13:59 #

The shoes are SO amazingl, but the outfit doesn’t do them justice.

  11. Claudia November 16, 2010 at 13:49 #

OMG.. I’m totally in love with this shoes..
I want it as bad as you!
I just love SJP.. she’s so cute!
    I love this dress also

I love the shoes… but for me… She wants to hard to keep her “role” that for me is a little bit eccentric.

  13. ila naidu November 16, 2010 at 13:35 #

she has the same shoes in shaded black and midnight blue with a black trim and wore them very often thru the promotional tour of sex and the city2 ….they are gorgeous…definitely not for a ‘shoe shy customer’

  14. Marvel November 16, 2010 at 13:00 #

Is she wearing a dress? All I noticed are her shoes. LOVE

  15. Lee Ann November 16, 2010 at 12:15 #

Love the shoes. Love the dress. BUT NOT TOGETHER!!!!!

    • Alicat November 16, 2010 at 12:26 #

You wrote exactly what I was going to!!

just another new york night: is there anything more quintessential than black-on-black in new york city? leave it to sjp to add her little twist. not only do the shoes make this outfit, but there’s something just a bit witch-y about it which makes perfect sense given the film (not to mention her role in ‘hocus pocus’)….

  17. Juliana November 16, 2010 at 12:00 #

I love the dress – if anyone can pull this off and still look chic is SJP. And I love the shoes.

But put them together and… I don’t know, maybe if the shoes were a brighter, stronger blue…

    omg THOSE SHOES!!!!!!!!

      totally 🙂

I feel the shoes look odd with that outfit. Probably because I’m not too fond of them. Sorry to say this but they’re not on my wish list.
As for the rest, blah. Too boring, just like Emma…

    • KateS November 17, 2010 at 03:36 #

Yeah, I’m not feeling the shoes – in the long shot they look like some kind of strange trainer/heel hybrid, and I hate pastels with black.
      Love the lapel pins/brooches.

  21. Tania November 16, 2010 at 11:18 #

How fantastic are those shoes. I need these on my feet right now! J’adore too FC!

  22. robbie November 16, 2010 at 11:14 #

the outfit is boring, the shoes are something very special though! damn they are pretty, although i am somewhat bored of nicholas kirkwood.

  23. Terry November 16, 2010 at 11:03 #

Love the dress but those delicate heels are to die for!!!
