Leighton Meester always gives us something interesting on the red carpet.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress wore a gorgeous custom Prabal Gurung mini dress last night at the 2010 CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
Her white asymmetrical Swarovski crystal encrusted dress was paired with black Roger Vivier ankle boots.
I normally would frown on this kind of footwear with such a pretty dress, but as the dress is quite edgy they kinda work for me on this occasion.
I would’ve loved a super tight ponytail with the look, but I still really like this look.

I was waiting for this! The dress is AMAZING, I love the different drapings on the skirt, and she looks gorgeous. I usually don’t like that kind of shoes, but I love them on this occasion. Love this!
I love this. I dont know if i love it on her, but i love it. Saldana wears Prabal very well.
I agree, a pony would have complemented the overall look.
Absolutely love it! She looks so beautiful and the dress is gorgeous. The shoes are perfect here
gorgeous. agree about how she always gives us somethin diff on red carpet…love the styling here from her improved makeup to her gorgeously designed dress. the shoes work but yes, a diff. hairstyle would even be better
The dress is nice enough and I do like the shoes (not with the dress though) but she could have done something different with the hair. Not neccasirly a pony just done something with it.
dont like it ,her face looks weird
me too , i dont what it is but she is not selling it to me. The dress seems very childish to me , its prolly only me
i like it a lot too. The shoes are not my favourite, but they work with the dress. Leighton is definitely very versatile.
Leighton somehow isn’t right for this gorgeous look – Is it just her hair, or something else as well – not sure, but I’m not loving this……
Actually I think this is not the best picture of her that day, she looked so much better than it seems!
I don’t like this. The dress kind of makes her look bigger. The hair and shoes are also bad.
I hate the shoes. The dress is pretty, not edgy.
agree, shoes cut-off her legs and make them look short
Love the look. She looks quirky and now but w/o trying to hard. I do agree about the pony though. It would have really added to the look.
Its such a refreshing look from all the Chanel Coco-was-lame-and–I-was-ten-times-cooler-Lagerfeld era thats been shoving down my throat recently.
Agree about the hair part though. She would have looked much nicer with a pony.
amazing dress on the wrong amazing woman
I love this look, I love the shoes with it, they make it cooler, which is perfect for a girl like Leighton. I really do not mind the hair, I would have prefered a messy bun (not too messy though!) and I really like the delicate jewels, although I personally would ahve put a huge cocktail ring, but I am an addict to themsoI gues that is just protocall for me.
She does however, seem to be missing a clutch.
Overall I am in LOVE, another BDOTW for me.
This overall look is just okay, average to me.
I like the dress, but it I don’t think that it looks good on Leighton. I love the shoes.
I agree about the hair. It would have looked better pulled back.
I love the dress but she is not doing it justice. Shoe choice is poor – too heavy and black.
What a cutie
cool dress, but I’m not sure white is a good colour for Leighton. I applaud her for continuously mixing it up and taking fashion risks, though.
Love the dress. Very cute indeed!
stunning dress,don’t like the hair.
