Elle Fanning joined Natalie Portman and Hilary Swank on the red carpet at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 2nd Annual Governors Awards in LA this weekend.
The teen star has been walking the red carpet since 2007, but this year she’s really come into her own wearing big name designers.
On this occasion she wore a strapless Valentino Resort 2011 dress.
The model never really sold this dress to me, but I love it on Elle.
Her dress which is covered in floral appliqués is so cute. I love the bow at the waist and the flared skirt.
Unlike many teen stars before her Elle continues to be fashionable and age appropriate at all times.

Do we think that Elle and Dakota share a stylist? They often wear the same designers (Valentino, Marchesa, Marc Jacobs) and similar princess-y styles too. ho ever works with them both is doing a great job, I love their cute, fashion forward but not too old look

I ador ethis dress on her, I feel that on the model, and anyone of a certain age would ahve made it look juvenile also. the only small hiccup in her outfit, IMO, is the shoes, I would prefer if she wore lighter shoes, basically ntot black, but not necessarily heels, although this is a completely minor fault.
She also has really, really nice hands. I know that is really random, but in my POV, underrated!
