Dominic Cooper, January Jones and Rupert Everett helped Donatella Versace celebrate the launch of the Central Saint Martins 20:20 Fashion Fund at the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair, London last night.
January Jones is currently in London filming ‘X Men’ and as you know she’s very much Donatella’s favourite.
The ‘Mad Men’ star and unofficial brand ambassador for Versace wore a very severe high bun with her Versace Spring 2011 dress and black suede pumps.
Her black cocktail dress with an open back had shiny black buttons details and patent leather straps.
Donatella opted to wear a very sexy chocolate metallic Versace dress.
This dress didn’t appear on the runway, but if you look at several looks from the Fall 2010 collection, you can see at least 3 looks this dress was derived from.

Maybe for the very first time I don’t like these Versace looks. I hoped to see more colors from Donatella and January Jones. There are even too much “black brands” and I think Versace must impress for light and fun. I like DV’s shoes but not January’s.

I cannot put my finger on what it is about January Jones, but she never seems to own what she wears. Her look is very generic. She is wearing a very sexy dress, but it looks bland on her. The hair is horrible. Donatella is rocking her dress in her very individual way. Such a contrast between these two women…

I really like it. Although I am still holding my breath for something more. She always brings a new edgy to Versace, and it really works here.
The black shoes are killing me though.
The bun is way too severe. The black pumps are boring. She’s either going to a boring business meeting or a funeral, I can’t decide which.

This is one of the only times that JJ looks good off the show. I love the shoes they are very retro.
JJ looks so boring. If anything my eyes are more drawn on Donatella. Look at her work that dress! JJ looks so plain that she blends in with the wall.
Donatella is the only woman in that photo that looks sexy. She is working that dress more than any 20 year old ever could.
