Emma Watson In Rafael Lopez – “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1” World Premiere

We all found a fault with Emma Watson’s look at the Warner Bros Leavesden Studios photocall last night.

It was either her hair, her make-up, her dress, her accessories or her shoes.

Tonight at the “Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1” World Premiere she was FLAWLESS.

It’s been a while since someone gave me goosebumps.

I didn’t think anyone could top Leighton Meester or Gwyneth Paltrow this week, but I think Emma does so with relative ease.

She showed us just how confident she is on the red carpet with her new ‘do wearing a stunning Rafael Lopez lace and feathered dress.

Her lace dress with a built in bra and feathered hem is just the type of look to show off her flirty feminine side, whilst still giving us a young fresh sophisticated look.

The original version of this dress had a longer skirt, so I’m glad Emma wore a modified version.

I’m now super excited to see what else she gives us during this promo tour. Hopefully the only way is up.

Charlotte Olympia pumps, Solange Azagury Partridge jewels and a Remembrance Day poppy completed her BDOTW worthy look.

One day, two BDOTY contenders. I love that everyone is upping their game.

    Gorgeous!!
    BDOTY contender!!

  2. Inès November 12, 2010 at 08:31 #

Emma rules. She really does. She has the same age as Kristen Stewart yet she stays classy, she is smart and know how to promote her movies, rock some different outfit and treat her fan. Go Emma!!

She really did look beautiful those pass days. I think the previous dress was beautiful but the necklace was too much!

    • Katie November 14, 2010 at 05:10 #

That was an unnecessary and unclassy snipe at Kristen Stewart. And what makes you think Emmas classy. In this dress she looks more like showgirl material. I’m sorry but I loved her HBP promo tour a dozen times over. That was when she looked the closest to classy, here she looks like any other Hollywood wannabe wearing lacy feathered short black dresses.

she looks stunning. a definite improvement from her photocall look! her hair is gorgeously styled and she looks very youthful and glamorous at once. but other than tht…i think this is just another look tht i’ve seen before. it doesnt really excite me to be honest.

  4. Chloé November 12, 2010 at 08:14 #

  10. Elaine November 12, 2010 at 04:03 #

BDOTY contender FOR SURE!!!!! She has a wonderful body and beautiful legs and it shows here in this more than amazing dress. Simply divine and flawless!!!!!!!!!

  18. bas November 12, 2010 at 00:45 #

    one word: gorgeous!

  19. asherlev1 November 12, 2010 at 00:37 #

    Her legs are rockin’.
Lol, she definitely doesn’t have a problem with her hair, but I can’t help but think how sweet~ this would look with longer hair.

Either way, she still looks great! I always like what Emma wears.

  20. niya November 12, 2010 at 00:21 #

this makes me happy – i was worried initially that she wouldnt be able to work the new do (esp after that vionnet) but this is positively stunning! i can’t believe how effortlessly she pulls this off! now im totally looking forward to the rest of the tour.

  21. Marian November 12, 2010 at 00:10 #

    wow…. wow.

  22. Juliana November 12, 2010 at 00:09 #

Now, here’s how you do proper make-up with such short hair and don’t look like you’re trying too hard to look as if you have make-up.

Even though I’m not a fan of the skirt, I think this is MUCH classier than the previous look.

  23. ullis November 12, 2010 at 00:02 #

Can I please have your body, Emma Watson? Pleeeaase? If not, can I please at least have your face

    xx

    • frommdq November 12, 2010 at 03:10 #

LOL… If I cant have emmas body or face, at least and want emmas dress in sice 14! With the longer skirt, of course

  24. katelin November 11, 2010 at 23:58 #

seriously she looks stunning, adore this outfit choice and her makeup, amazing.

  25. mochababe73 November 11, 2010 at 23:51 #

The first words out of my mouth, “Damn!”
She looks great. Everything came together in this one look. I wish that more young celebrity women would dress as classy.

  26. Ethne Blist November 11, 2010 at 23:49 #

This lace and the bustier part reminds me of her Christopher Kane look too much. Why can’t she wear Marchesa? It’s good that she’s wearing unknown designers though.

  27. Liz November 11, 2010 at 23:48 #

GORGEOUS from head to toe!! OMG!! I’m in love!!

I love the dress. It works really well with the pixie cut. The shoes are perfect!! And her makeup is flawless.

And the EARRINGS!! I want them!!

  28. Claudia November 11, 2010 at 23:38 #

she does look amazing… she looks so fresh and young..
this outfit was perfectly made for her I think..
She’s just (as you said) flawless.
I’m not so sure she tops Gwyneth.. but it’s different styles.. maybe you could star doing a BDOTW with long dresses and short dresses.. would be easier to choose..

  29. yazz November 11, 2010 at 23:25 #

she’s stunning and fierce i lover her dress,
this is the original dress without modification

      thank you

  30. Marvel November 11, 2010 at 23:23 #

I LOVE this look and I love the hair and make-up more than the dress.
    LOVE LOVE

  31. T from Sydney November 11, 2010 at 23:15 #

    LOVE!!
    – but i think think Gwyneth Paltrow is #1 this week
i have a good feeling about emma for the harry potter press tour, she never fails

i think what i dont like about her hair is its too dark and it makes her look 5yrs older than she is, maybe if she went abit lighter i may love it more

this might sound random but i love emmas eye brows there perfect

    • Anna November 12, 2010 at 09:22 #

Random yes, but I agree on the eyebrows!

I will have some serious trouble voting in BDOTW. Hmmm

  32. tasha November 11, 2010 at 23:12 #

Amazing! I wasn’t sold on the new hair until I saw this. She is easily one of the most elegant young stars and could give a few lessons to some.

  33. Pablo November 11, 2010 at 23:08 #

    Oops, I can’t agree on this one…
A total black look will very difficultly wow me… Plus her dress is just like another trademark Marchesa mini: lace and feathers. Black pumps are nothing new either.
She, however, does look really beautiful (hair and make-up wise)!

    • Sharona November 12, 2010 at 09:00 #

Completely agree! I really can’t see what all the fuss is about. Surely this must be at least the thirtieth little black lace dress with feathers and black pumps we’ve seen on the red carpet this year?

Clemence Poesy, now – there’s a girl who can look stylish in a binliner. Hope she’s featured on the blog later!

  34. nicole November 11, 2010 at 23:07 #

LOVE IT!! i saw her pose for the cameras and she was so breathtaking its crazy. just goes to show that a simple look can go a long way compared to something OTT.

    • Liz November 11, 2010 at 23:51 #

I know right! She sure knows how to work the camera. The girl is amazing.

There was one shot of her standing in front of some “death eaters” and they were all checking her out. lol.

      • nicole November 12, 2010 at 00:21 #

haha thats awesome. Can’t blame them she definitely showed off those legs..

  35. Ella November 11, 2010 at 22:54 #

I actually like this look–hated yesterday! While I am not crazy about her hair, this ensemble makes it more palatable.

However, Gwenyth would be my BDOTW

  36. dee November 11, 2010 at 22:36 #

I like this look and yesterday’s look. That’s 2 in a row for me. Keep it up, Emma.

  37. Taylor November 11, 2010 at 22:32 #

Loving this …and no, not everyone found fault with yesterday’s look.

  38. Charlotte November 11, 2010 at 22:30 #

I agree! she looks stunning! it’s such a young look but yet really sophisticated! love love love!
however, black pumps and yet no complaints? i’m shocked, FC!
as gorgeous as she looks, gwenyth has BDOTW in the bag, in my eyes!

    • Fashion Critic November 11, 2010 at 22:34 #

I was so busy focusing on her hair, dress and make-up 🙂

  39. Stacey November 11, 2010 at 22:25 #

LOVE everything about this. She totally owns the look. Here’s to hoping yesterday was a fluke!

  40. Jen November 11, 2010 at 22:21 #

    LOVE IT. She looks divine.

  41. SarahV November 11, 2010 at 22:20 #

    Love it!! All grown up…

  42. sara November 11, 2010 at 22:19 #

perfect from head-to-toe!!!!so cute, so smart but young and cool at the same time!!what a dress!!!!!

    • mol November 12, 2010 at 16:56 #

      Totally agree

      • mol November 12, 2010 at 22:42 #

Sorry, I ment my ‘totally agree’ comment to be under fashion-mommy’s comment about Emma looking like a young Jean Seberg……my mistake!

  43. fashion-mommy November 11, 2010 at 22:16 #

wow! this girl looks so beautiful, I think she brings to mind a young Jean Seberg.
    look of the week.

  44. lifeisdolce November 11, 2010 at 22:16 #

gorgeous. although i have absolutely no idea how she braved the wind, rain and freezing cold wearing something so teeny-tiny! i couldn’t even stand it at the train station in my wool coat!

    • Fashion Critic November 11, 2010 at 22:20 #

LOL…ditto. I’m had was wrapped up in a big coat and a snood

  45. 2c November 11, 2010 at 22:14 #

    LOVELOVELOVE

  46. luiza November 11, 2010 at 22:11 #

i have to desagree. i really deslike this look. where’s that classy and sophisticated Emma that i used to love? this look and the yesterday one seems to answer my question: she’s gone.

    • Hannah November 11, 2010 at 22:26 #

I agree to a certan degree with you, adn Iam thankful I am the notthe onyl one, but in comparison to yesterday – MUCH better.
I hate the heels. It is a bit too showgirl for my taste (sorry to be predictable), but her hair looks better than before. Definitely not ebtter than gwyneth or Leighton by any means for me, but definitely a try. I don’t like the makeup though, but it is better than last time.
      She is very orange too.
I loved this look on impact, but the more I see it the less I like it.

      • sonia November 11, 2010 at 23:02 #

but girls!!! she is soooo young, and the look is really refreshing!! she has decades to be sofisticated but no to wear this kind of “hot stuff”.
Anyway I agree the heels are not the best choice!

        • artemis November 11, 2010 at 23:41 #

Totally agree with Sonia! I prefer always sophistication and elegance but when you are so young you must rock some “hot stuff”!!!

        • luiza November 11, 2010 at 23:45 #

yeah, but she can be classy and sophisticated without looking old 🙂

much prefer that beatiful vintage Ossie Clark that she wore last year

  47. camelias November 11, 2010 at 22:06 #

I LOVE IT!!!!! Well done Emma!

  48. M November 11, 2010 at 22:02 #

    So gorgeous i might cry.

    • Fashion Critic November 11, 2010 at 22:03 #

I’m with you on that one.

      • Vicky November 12, 2010 at 05:24 #

I second that! I love, love, LOVE this!!
The little duckling has grown up to a beautiful swan!

        • avs November 12, 2010 at 15:07 #

          perfection!!!!

  49. Melissa November 11, 2010 at 22:01 #

    LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!!

  50. Hermione Weasley November 11, 2010 at 22:01 #

I looove the rétro feel to the whole look! The only thing I don’t like is the fake tan… in certain pics she looks like a Oompa Loompa XD
