Marion Cotillard horrified us all when she wore this Christian Dior Fall 2010 dress to the ‘Les Petits Mouchoirs’ Paris Premiere last month.
I still have nightmares over the hair, make-up and her squashed twins.
She wasn’t the graceful Marion we’ve all come to love.
Model Daisy Lowe wore the same dress to the private viewing of “Dior Illustrated: Rene Gruau And The Line Of Beauty” in London last night.
She paired her dress with tights and Christian Dior Cavaliere platform ankle boots.
No question I’m giving this to Daisy, even with my pet peeves ankle boots and tights.

FC -I am so glad you cannot see me today as I am wearing the Cavaliere boots in brown with tights (lacey patterened) and a CD plum dress as tonight I am attending a function at Somerset House for Dior Illustrated Rene Gruau.
Anyway -think Daisy pulls the look off better but I wish she had worn the lace sequinned boots instead-platform ones are a bit too tough for leather dress-it needs feminising as the dress is tough enough already.
Also FC am going to have to disagree with a capital D (sorry) it looks ludicrous shorter and resembles a skaters outfit. The dress needs length but it also needs movement. More importantly, it needs someone very very tall and thin to wear it. Remember the show !!! It was stunning there.

Also I agree so much on the length, it needs length. I find it wierd that this dress is clearly corseted but neither Marion (who has evidently had breast implants) nor Daisy got it tailored to fit.
Also I am not sure if it is the pose (which I don’t like anyway) but the dress look big on top for Clara alonso.

The dress works for Daisy bc she’s kind of punky looking. On Marion, it’s just a horrible disaster.

This dress clearly doesn’t work for anyone with a bust. I think it looks awful on both of them.
I’m so glad someone else wore this Dior dress so everyone could see that the bodice cut was clearly intended to drop right above the nipple in both cases. I don’t care for the dress but to say Cotillard looked any different in it is bias. Both ladies were over-exposed and probably uncomfortable. Surely a man designed this dress.
Is it just me or do they look the same in the dress? All Daisy needs is pink lip.

How is it possible that two girls wear such a GORGEOUS dress and none of them looks outstanding in it??
I have to say that I really dislike Marion’s shoes and the hair. Also I think the dress is slightly tight, isn’t it? For me Daisy wore it better even though I’d prefer it without the tights.
