Taylor Swift In Z Spoke by Zac Posen – 2010 BMI Country Music Awards

Taylor Swift attended the 2010 BMI Country Music Awards last night in Nashville, Tennessee.

The singer/songwriter received many awards including BMI’s songwriter of the year.

At only 20 years old, Taylor is the youngest star to earn the title.

Many of you will be pleased to see that not a single sequin adorns her Z Spoke by Zac Posen metallic halter dress, and she didn’t wear glittery heels either.

Some of you have been praying for a style change, so let me know if you appreciate her sleek, sexy bustier dress with a glam metallic finish.

I think she looks amazing.

Its still sparkly. Dont get me wrong, she looks great but I wish she would straighten her hair more often. That one time she did was great!

she’s gorgeous and classy. It is also age appropriate BDOTW

I love how she is transitioning to an older look without going from 20 to 45. And she looks great in this outfit- love it!

  5. Wendy November 10, 2010 at 23:49 #

It’s nice…but not WOW,so she definitely is not BDOTW worthy

I love it on her. She looks absolutely perfect and classy for the occasion.
I hope that starlets are taking note that this is how a 20 year old can look grown-up and sophisticated without looking either dowdy or trashy.

she traded sequins for metallic fabric, big whoop. slightly less boring than normal i guess, though the hair and accessories are a snooze fest that we’ve seen many times before.

I agree… so dull… I don’t think she could breathe life into any outfit, no matter which style. Pukey floral or barfy sequined or dumb shiny… she’s like a doorknob! It all ends up looking bland on her.

Gorgeous!! Very classy and cute, love her!

I almost fell over when i saw this!
She looks amazing! Her recent red carpet style has me excited for the CMA awards tonight!
    BDOTW for sure!

I know, she is not BDOTW worthy!

  12. Helen November 10, 2010 at 21:11 #

She looks great but the metallic dress isn’t that much of a departure from her usual sequins.

    • V November 10, 2010 at 22:31 #

it’s the same! metallic is the sister of sequins! there’s nothing wrong with her liking sequins and metallic. she was what 16 when she became famous and is now 20. why shouldn’t she like those items. it’s youth appropriate. i am sure in 5 years her style might grow to include different elements

I personally don’t have a problem with it. I love a sparkly dress, but a lot of people are bored of that look

  13. dee November 10, 2010 at 20:45 #

    She looks great. love it.

Boring. I have seen this all before. It is still shiny. Taylor Swift wearing anything that resembles a corset (a bustier) just makes me laugh. I can’t take her music seriously if she’s going to dress in bustiers or corsets. She doesn’t even have the bosom to fill out a bustier or corset in the first place. Love the hair and makeup though.

    • Ethne Blist November 10, 2010 at 20:36 #

Avid bodice dresses in general and sexy styles. It just doesn’t work for you Taylor Swift.

The fact that she wins award for her songwriting “abilities” is hurting me, seriously. But let’s talk fashion. I don’t like her outfit.

    • molly November 10, 2010 at 22:29 #

be nice. its a fashion blog not a hater site.

      • justme November 11, 2010 at 00:06 #

Lol it’s not a stan site either. I didn’t even say anything remotely mean, especially compared to some of the other comments.

  16. Laura November 10, 2010 at 19:54 #

Beautiful, event-appropriate. I’m glad it had straps because it seems like so many people go for strapless now. Great look. Taylor is beautiful.

  17. Rebecca November 10, 2010 at 19:48 #

I like the dress but her hair and makeup are gorgeous-more gentle and sophisticated–more gorwn up, not trying so hard–lovely.

    • Hannah November 10, 2010 at 19:57 #

Ditto everything you just said. Simply Lovely.

  18. Gorgeous Spice November 10, 2010 at 19:47 #

Taylor is not a cute or a pretty girl. She is BEAUTIFUL. Beauty is sometimes hard to understand but when it is in front of you, al you can do is stop and stare. The dress is amazing.

  19. Ella November 10, 2010 at 19:40 #

I love the hair! The dress, to me, is “eh”

  20. Lara November 10, 2010 at 19:34 #

    This is so gorgeous

  21. Sara B. November 10, 2010 at 19:25 #

BDOTW contender for sure. She looks incredible! All grown up and in the best possible way.

  22. mol November 10, 2010 at 19:16 #

Wow! I love it all with just a minor irritation at the shoes.
