This is a very unfamiliar look for Lauren Conrad, but I absolutely adore it.
It has been a while since she gave us something this glamorous.
The reality TV star was one of the hosts at the VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala which was held in New York City last night.
She looked gorgeous wearing Topshop tiered seemed maxi dress.
Her silk dress has cascading ruffles on the sleeves and the hem plus a delicate seaming detail throughout.
I adore her hair which was twisted into a side bun giving her an old Hollywood glam look.
I love the deep red lip shade also. It totally works with the vibe she was going for.
Sparkling Jimmy Choo heels and silver jewels completed her look.
This dress kinda reminds me of the Carolina Herrera gown Blake Lively wore on the set of Gossip Girl recently.

Its a different look for her but I dont think it works for her. The lip shade it too dark and the dress looks cheap, especially since you pointed out that it might be a knock off of the Carolina Herrera

I like the dress, and her hair, but her lipstick is terrible and doesn’t work for me at all.

This kinda gave me a Rachel Zoe/Nicole Richie feel but in a good way. Lauren pulls it off well, and I like the lip color a lot.
Olivia wore the same Kate Moss for topshop dress but in flora. Lauren has more the body for the dress
Olivia Palermo wore a similar dress– her’s had a floral print but I must say that Lauren wears it better.
So feminine and I love the color. She looks so sweet in the dress and her hair is a perfect complement.

She always looks lovely, but as always, I love a change. It is refreshing, she does glamour very well (even though I do not liek the lipstick on her – it works here).
One thing that is bugging me though is that for some unknown reason I can only imagine this dress drapign off of Julia Roberts – I actually think I woul cry at the event of that.

I love the dress on her. The only thing that I have a complaint about is her lipstick. But, everything else looks great, and she should wear this color more often.
