It may have been the 2010 Glamour Women of the Year Awards, but there wasn’t anything particularly glamorous about Julia Roberts’ look at the event.
The star known for her love of wearing head-to-toe black arrived at this event wearing a big coat.
It was only inside the venue when she received her award that we finally got to see her black L’Wren Scott dress.
The dress is nothing to write home about, but I do love her leopard print Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

I actually love the dress: it’s very lady-like, maybe not event appropriate, but a classic.
Like the heels, hate the coat.
i cannot believe how bored i was by this look.
i was looking at the pictures earlier & i literally thought to myself “who is that woman wearing that pathetic black coat.. good grief its julia roberts”
Good that she won.. the award added the much needed pop of colour, .. dont u think??
lol…totally
Sometimes it’s about the person and their beauty, not the clothes itself… I guess she’s on of the few woman in the world whom that statement can apply to
Yeah, it’s on the boring side for this event, but it is a nice dress and I like her hair this colour.
very true. I am just sick of her hand clasped pose. I still cant get out my head, that she is always mourning.
And it’s the frumpiest pose ever. Like my Grandmother in church.
Totally agree – She looks overtly pious. Like she is trying toshow how she has matured, but let’s be honest, in this case mature just means dull. The dress is okish. The coat is not.
JULIA! y do u insist on dressing like u’re about 65 instead of a hott “40 sumthing”? i jus dont get it & that granny coat on the red carpet jus put the nail in the coffin.
Didint expect anything less from her. I do like the heels
Julia Robers credibility fell thru after that awful trite crap that was Eat Pray Love. I cannot stand this woman. Cant dress and overacts in movies. Time to retire lady.
She is boring boring in black than Demi Moore. Gotta watch yourself Julia.
I love her darker hair color, the fit of the dress and her heels, but she really needs to get out of this all black phase as it isn’t doing her any favors.
I get the feeling she just doesn’t want to play anymore. She is so totally not into the whole dressing up/movie star thing. All her outfits for her latest movie promotion made that painfully clear and now for this event she won’t even take off her coat. Too bad, she’s a gorgeous woman at any age and at any weight. But its clear she isn’t into it anymore.
Boring as always but the heels are killer.
What a fashion disappointment Julia has turned out to be. She really ought to look at pictures of Iman, Mrs. Obama and Helen Mirren to see how women of any age can look stunning.
Totally agreement.
She really lets herself down when the women you listed strive to look perfect.
Boring. I’m bored of being bored by Julia Roberts.
Dull, unexciting, and boring. Beautiful woman. Wonderful personality. I wish that the clothes matched her persona.
Come on Juila it’s not a funeral!
Julia is so sweet and meek in that picture! She truly deserves that award! Julia forever!
