I was honestly blown away by Olivia Wilde at the 2010 BAFTA Los Angeles Britannia Awards, which was held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in LA last night.
Yes she’s wearing my least favourite red carpet colour, but she looked so elegant oozing class and sophistication.
The dress may be too informal for some because of the black cashmere top, but the long sweeping sequined skirt makes this look for me.
A chic updo, flawless neutral make-up and minimal accessories were the key to this stunning look.
I would’ve been tempted to over accessorize this look by adding statement jewelery, but all it needed was her Judith Leiber clutch.
Does anyone love this as much as I do?

simply beautiful….
Yes!! So elegant, I love it!
She looks gorgeous! Head to toe perfection! I think she is like a new Audrey Hepburn. Always so elegant.
A pop of color from her fingernails and lips would be nice.
This is so Micheal Kors, wearable, uncomplicated, multipurpose separates but still says luxury. She looks fantastic.
I love it too. It looks very different from the runway (I love the coziness of the runway look) but I adore it. Statement jewellery would not have ruined this look, but I love it just as it is, for Olivia the lack ofjewellery looks perfect. I adore Michael Kors, and this is a perfect example of that. She has so much class and sophistication as you say, I really love her and I find her so refreshing on most red carpets.
To be hoest, I think I may love it more than you.
Not possible
I agree with you, but I am such a Michael Kors fan that I think that he can do no wrong.
But for me, I think that she needed a bangle and nothing else.
I love this! She looks so classy and elegant! I would have liked a little jewelry too, but it’s good just like it is. Very glamorous.
Yes, I do love this. It’s simply beatiful.
She looks absolutely amazing. BDOTW.
beautiful!
Totally love it. She is so classy and I just loved the way she posed. Gorgeous!!!!
YEEESSSSSS
last min BDOTW contender please?
There’s something about this look that reminds me of Marlene Dietrich and I absolutely adore it!
Incredible! Haven’t had much time to comment here but had to say something about this. Wow moment.
ps: did you see the photos of Dakota Fanning, fc? are you going to feature her? actually I don’t think that dress really fitted her… :/
it’s has already posted
Relaxed chic – she looks stunning.
HOT.
I love it! It remind’s me of Sharon Stone’s men’s shirt w/ skirt red carpet look. Simple and yet oozes glamour!
I was going to say the same thing!
GAHHH. Yes, I do! I love it as much. BDOTW.
you stole my gahh. But GAAAAAAAHHHHHH i cant stand how amazing she looks.
Amazing! She looks so much better than the model, too, with that teeny waist and her slight curves.
I love Olivia so much, she can’t do any wrong for me. But here she looks stunning nonetheless. I would very mush like to see her in BDOTW.
She looks stunning. Olivia is blessed with a model physique.
So…. I guess I’m the only one who found this look quite boring, and didn’t like the hair & make-up at all.
I love looks like this. Not too informal at all.
Stunning! This is effortless glamour at its best :]
Beautiful, elegant and classy.
Well technically she is a princess, and she darn right looks like one
BDOTW. Perfect!
Yes, I love it in its entirety. Beautiful.
She looks so gorgeus! <3
Gorgeous! I like that she’s gone for more skin at the wrist and less at the decolletage than the runway presentation. Very elegant.
Gorgeous.
totally agree with Fashion Critic, she looks awesom! it reminds me of the pairing of gap tee shirt and couture skirt sharon stone did for 90s Oscars… a look now iconic.
beautiful!
