Milla Jovovich attended the “The Exodus – Burnt By The Sun” Premiere at the Palais des Festivals during Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
The actress wore a Louis Vuitton Fall 2010 strapless gown with a rise and fall hem which was paired with satin Sergio Rossi pumps.
Gong Li wore the same dress to the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book jewelry promotion in Beijing last week.
LeeAnn informed me that the strapless dress never went into production, and it’s Gong dress which actually appears in the Louis Vuitton stores.
So it comes down to which do you prefer the runway version or the commercial version.
I’m not crazy about the dress, but Milla wins for me because the gown doesn’t need all that jewelery.

Tough… Agree jewellery not needed, but she had to wear some really, it being a Tiffany event and all. Prefer it with straps though…
Close but Gong gets it.
oh i have to disagree FC, personally i think the jewelry makes it look better. on milla it looks like she just grabbed some ugly old carpet and put it on, where as least of gong it looks pretty.
Is it Elle??
Neither looks as good as Elle. Her statuesque, full-figured body makes this dress look amazing. The smaller frames of the other two ladies are overwhelmed by the type and volume of fabric. A difficult dress to pull off, and only Elle does it for me.
I agree…My vote goes to Elle. Neither of the other two pull this heavy dress off. Elle has the bod to pull this dress off.
I have seen more pictures than the one shown here and Milla is totally working it.
I don’t like the dress so I voted for no one. The dress is just ugly. No one could pull this off.
Yeah, ugly was the word that came to mind. However, Milla looks far better than the other two.
I agree with Linda- the dress is ugly but Milla is working it. The jewelry is unnecessary.
Gotta disagree FC. I think the straps on gong keep the look from looking like she’s dragging a bunch of fabric on the ground. Gong wins for me.
