Wow doesn’t quite cover it.
But that’s the best I could do when stunned into silence by writer Rula Jebreal and actress Freida Pinto.
The beauties are a delight in Dior as they walked the red carpet tonight during day 3 of the 2010 Doha Tribeca Film Festival.
Rula wore a cream chiffon Christian Fall 2010 dreamy dress which is tiered and accented with flurry buds, whilst Freida wore a turquoise Resort 2011 dress.
Freida’s gown has an embellished bodice and floaty chiffon skirt.
I can’t decide who I like more.
Can you?

Both are just beautiful! I more wowed by the color of Frieda’s gown but Rula just looks more statuesque
Rula looks totally STUNNING!! Absolute perfection. Frida is gorgeous as well, but that Fall dress is just to die for.
I agree. Rula’s dress is divine. Plus she looks more confidant than Freida.
i agree, i like both of them, their skin color is wonderful for these dresses…but rula’s dress is more beautiful!
co-sign i adore rula here. stunning
I agree. I prefer Freida’s dress on runway but I think Rula carries her dress much better than Freida does. I would love to see Rula in BDOTW.
Prefer Rula as we tend to see Freida wear these types of dresses quite often
freida, absolutely!
I much prefer Rula! I wish Frieda had worn the runway choker!
Two beautiful girls in two beautiful gowns. I think I like Rula’s more.
Dior Fall 2010 Collection was by far the most underrated and most beautiful. It translates so well in editorials and on the red carpet. I love both looks, they are such gorgeous girls. Those colors are perfect for their skin tone. Frida cant really do wrong in my eyes.
Rula hands down!
Freida’s my favorite. That dress is stunning!
I love Freia’s simplicity within the sparkle and the color wows me, it’s only that the waist isn’t quite fitted right….
Just about to say the same thing, love the colour but the waist sits too low on her and looks baggy. I think Rula wears her look to perfection, beautiful.
I agree, it almost looks like she needs a belt, but the rest is stunning.
Same here!
I love the color of Frieda’s but Rula just looks stunning and wins in my book.
Rula’s feels like its too low to me… Frida for BDOTW for me over J-Lo.
Man, when it rains, it POURS BDOTW nominees… I’m thinking at least 12 choices FC
I’ve stopped counting there is so many
I prefer Frida’s dress, but I think it could have been better fitted through the bodice. As is, it looks a little slouchy.
It almost looks too big for her.
Same here, it’s so difficult to choose
What’s wrong with the bodice on Freida’s dress? It’s kind of droopy, and hitting lower than it should.
Rula’s dress is just divine.
Both gorgeous but I have to go with Rula — she just looks out-of-this-world incredible in that dress. Stunning.
RULA! I love Freida’s and I am sure this isnt evne the best photo of her in that dress. As I am delighted at this beautiful display of Dior, as I am still healing from the scars left by Marion. Wow, it’s going to be a tough week this week, you have been amazin gwith al your coverage. Celebrities really are like buses.
I agree. I’ve enjoyed this week more than most. Dont’ know how I’m going to pick up a top 10
I don’t know how I am goign to choose who to vote for out of that top ten. Good Luck!
Oh and I do not know if it was intentional ,but thankyou for removing that post of Courtney Love. I had the literal same ‘NO’ reaction as you. I think we found our worst dressed of the year!
yes. I realised it was just damaging Marchesa so I took it down.
i like freida’s gown better but Rula looked better in her dress.
Freida without a doubt : the color and print makes it so much more interesting.
They both looks gorgeous, but making this blue dress work so well seems much more difficult and, to be quite honest, I think I will always prefer a nice colored outfit over a black/white/cream one.
I really like Freida’s dress more, but not the way it looks on her. The color is good on her, but It seems too big and baggy. The runway version is amazing.
correction! Rula is not indian she is palestenian
freida!! both are beautiful
Oh dear God. Rula looks amazing. Anddd how is the BDOTW poll going to be decided exactly? Lol, I feel like there should be 2 polls.
I don’t like the Christian Dior dress, but the color is pretty against Rula’s skintone. It fits well and styled perfectly.
I really like Freida’s dress, but I don’t like the fit. It looks too big. It’s more fitted and tailored on the model which makes it look better.
Am I the only one who thinks this does nothing for Freida? We’ve seen far more interesting/flattering things on her in the past few weeks.
Frieda’s gown is beautiful but she doesn’t do it justice. The fit is very off and the hair and make-up aren’t great either. I love it on the model though. Rula’s gown doesn’t seem as beautiful but she carries it off with aplomb and looks much better than Frieda in the picture…
errr…Rula aint Indian…you say ‘The Indian beauties..’
on an aside, they look so similar!
just a small correction, only freida is indian, rula is an israeli arab.
Rula’s gown is a billion times more interesting!
I prefer Rula Jebreal, there’s something I don’t like in Freida Pinto’s dress. On the runway the dress is beautiful, but her version seems sloppy, too loose. It doesn’t fit her well. And by the way, R. Jebreal is not Indian, she’s from Palestina (I don’t remember if in England you call the country in the same way); in Italy she’s very famous as a journalist.
writer (rula) looks more stunning than a film star
RU-LAH, RU-LAH, RU-LAH!!!
Rula looks outstanding! Love it! BDOTW contender!
