It looks like Olivia Palermo has fallen hard for stunning designs by Giambattista Valli since attending his Spring 2011 presentation in Paris earlier this month.
The socialite wore a sleeveless white Giambattista Valli Fall 2010 dress with the most adorable pink shoes I have ever seen in my life.
Her dress has the same shape, bow front detail and contrasting hem as the runway version, but obviously without the colour or the print.
I think Olivia could’ve also pulled off the runway version, but she made the right choice as the white is more classic and chic.
A pewter clutch completed her look.

Its beautiful, I like the fine T shape down the front. Only thing, I would have liked it shorter though, her version is quite a bit longer than the runway look which is more sassy!
I don’t like this dress at all. I do however love the pink shoes.
I think this dress is basically a haute couture version of a burlap sack. Shapeless, boring and kind of unflattering
This BDOTW for me. Love everything, the shoe color is so unexpected.
BDOTW please xx
Matronly. the dress is too big for her–boring.
Matronly….thats the word I was looking for. Good call!
Cute shoes, shame about the dress.
She looks boxy. For someone with small and thin frame, this is a wrong shape for her. Didnt do anything for her body. Shoes on the other hand…lovely. I usually hate pink shoes, but those are adorable.
the dress is very cute, but those pumps are directly to-die-for!!!!!olivia rules!!!
I love it all, even the color of her nails – all so perfectly chic, with the shoes the final finishing fillip that says, ‘remember me’….a best dressed for me.
I like everything from the colors to the shoes. But I hate the shape or how the dresses have no definition to the body. I was hoping she did wear the runway version or maybe…the size is too big. It seems pretty big on Olivia. Though I would like to see it with a belt, see how that works.
i LOVE the shoes. do you know the designer who made it??
Sh elos tsome of the shape form the runway version, and It is too long on her., as well as making her look sobxier and unflattering her arms. I love the shoes but not with thedress or th eclutch. it all feel slsightly miss matched for me.
Slightly boxy but I do like the shoes. Possibly the first time Ive ever liked something from this girl
i think yhis has an early sixties feel to it on Olivia – a bit Jackie Kennedy. Olivia is a very stylish girl!
As much as I like Olivia’s style, this is a complete miss for me. It’s too boxy and stiff. She’s a petite woman, and the dress makes her look huge.
Love the shoes.
I like the idea and accessories, but I agree with the above comments that it’s too long on her tiny frame – a shorter version would be more in keeping with the nod to ’60s mods suggested by the boxy shape.
I LOVE IT! She’s amazing!
A petite frame in a dress such as this will always look swamped. It could almost be maternity there is so much spare room. On the model it looks better, but I don’t really like it. It is a strange choice for someone so young.
can’t wait for a shoe id… and i’m not a big fan of the dress on her, either.
The dress looks like it’s a size too big on her… Apart from that, love it!
I don’t know how this girl does it.
She throws on clothes I would never think that would work and she makes them look sooo good.
To me she is pure style. I may be going a little too far, but I think she is what the adorable Audrey Hepburn would look like if she had been 25 in 2010.
