Leighton Meester is the first celebrity to wear look from Elie Saab’s Spring 2011 collection.
In fact this is the first time she’s ever worn Elie Saab on the red carpet much to my delight.
The ‘Gossip Girl’ actress dazzled on the red carpet at the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala wearing an Elie Saab Spring 2011 powder blue tulle cocktail dress with subtle sequin details and a satin ribbon tied into a pretty bow.
She paired her dress with blue suede peep-toe platforms from the same collection and a silver Jimmy Choo Candy acrylic clutch.
Since I’ve been accused of not being able to see past my crushes I need to ask you, is this a BDOTW contender?

It would be really difficult choosing either her or Paz once the polls come up.
All I have to say is, Meister nailed it. Everything, from the makeup to the accessories to the hair. My one teensy note? In a lot of pictures in different websites, she looks a bit tired and puffy around the eyes. Better get some sleep Leighton!

I love it when she sticks with what works for her, which are feminine yet strong designs. Ive seen her try to pull of edgy, rocker looks and every time she looks like a clown. This is her signature, and she should stick to it. I am also happy that she didnt wear crazy shoes this time.
She looks amazing! I would hae originally picked someonedifferent to debut this collection, but this for me is the best spring 2011 look we have seen on the red carpet yet. It i sperfection, and I hope all the other stars who wear this collection do it as much justice. Definitely BDOTW!

I love the dress and heels and even the clutch.
But I’m not into the hair, it’s such an elegant dress, I would’ve loved a more elegant hairstyle.
And I actually prefer the shoes it was paired with on the runway.

Yeah, if the length was a bit shorter and her hair more sleek, I would like this a lot more. As it is, it’s not a stand out look for me. I like it better on the model.

I defenitely love the dress and it’s for sure a great look but i don’t know why Iam not that much impressed by Leighton in it! I prefer it on the model.

I think that this is probably the second time that Leighton has gotten it right. The right dress with the right shoes. My only beef is with the hair. Other than that, Leighton should dress like this on the red carpet more often.
