I know many of you aren’t on my ‘love boat’ when it comes to Hilary Swank, but I think she looked stunning again last night at the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala.
The actress wore a beautiful Giorgio Armani Fall 2010 dress which featured in the Fall 2010 ad campaign.
Her one-shoulder embroidered dress was worn with champagne coloured heels and she carried a matching sparkling Judith Leiber clutch.
As much as I love this look, I will admit that something is missing.
Red lippie may have been too obvious and too many jewels would’ve competed with the dazzling dress, so I still can’t figure out what this look might be lacking.
Earring perhaps?

Another great look, but yes something is missing. I don’t hate the shoes but maybe a different more stand out shoes could have worked. Or possibly jewelry (either earrings, bracelets or ring), but not so much that it would take away or compete with the dress.

I am not on the ‘love boat’ but she does look incredible here. It is missing earrings, but she still looks impeccable.
You’re right…she needed some jewelry. Maybe earrings or perhaps a bracelet. Just something to light up her outfit. I don’t like her shoes either.
always found her a bit overrated in her style. she wears gorgeous pieces and is never boring…yet something is always missing just like this look! i admit she looks very pretty though especially in the last shot.
She looked flawless and beautiful, better than the model. I don’t think anything was missing but I’m not too crazy about the shoes – not a big deal.

I don’t like her hair–and she has great hair–why not let us see it–better hairstyle and earrings would have made this more polished. Gorgeous dress looks wonderful on her body.
I agree, Rebecca. What’s missing is HAIR. This is one time when hair would have added a lot and softened her up a bit… Not sure her facial type looks its best with hair pulled back.
I don’t always love her style but I think she looks great here. A diamond cuff on her right wrist may have worked to add a little more excitement and to balance out the one shoulder.

Its the hair AS ALWAYS! Her dress always scream Red Carpet & her hair always screams GYM! I wish she would attempt to do sumthin w/ it!

I like it, and I usually don’t like her looks. I don’t think anything’s missing and she looks way better than usual.
So plain.
Even though I’m really tired of one-shoulder dresses, this looks fantastic on Hilllary. The color is perfect and it fits her really well. I would like a more exciting shoe color and style and, of course, as someone else suggested, diamonds couldn’t hurt.
LOVE the look and maybe earrings would have made this look even more.

The hair would have worked if she had remembered her earrings before she left the house. And the shoes are sooo bridesmaid Dyeables. Ick. Something fabulously strappy and metallic would’ve made a world of difference.
