2010 Courage in Journalism Awards – Kelly Rowland’s Giuseppe Zanotti Leopard Print Wedges

Former Destiny Child’s singer Kelly Rowland attended the 2010 Courage in Journalism Awards, which was held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in LA last night.

She showed off her super hot body wearing a forest green fitted jersey dress with gold accessories.

As much as I love her dress, I’m in lust with her Giuseppe Zanotti sculpted platform wedge booties.

I first saw the object of my current obsession in the Giuseppe Zanotti store in Paris during Fashion Week, and I can’t wait until they land in the UK.

I might break my neck trying to walking in them and I’ll be super tall in them but I have to have them.

Before you say you hate them remember that one womans trash is another womans treasure.

Promise us you’ll post a pic of what you wear them with when you get them? I know you’ll make it fab!

    • Fashion Critic October 24, 2010 at 14:04 #

I promise. If I get them

  4. Maggy October 23, 2010 at 15:20 #

Nope, I wouldn’t pay a penny for those shoes. But I happen to hate animal print with a passion, so they’re just not for me. Other than the fact that the shoes are ruining the look, Kelly looks gorgeous though.

  5. Ayesha October 23, 2010 at 15:12 #

That body is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!

  6. Emi October 23, 2010 at 10:34 #

I don’t like these shoes, at all. Let me tell that if I were tall I would wear lots of flat shoes and boots! I totally love heels, but it would be great that they weren’t a necessity!

  7. nat October 23, 2010 at 09:38 #

Polish star DODA was actually the first one, who wore those amazing shoes 🙂 FC, chekc it here:
what do you think about it?

    • Fashion Critic October 23, 2010 at 11:20 #

they are a bit big for her, but they look really good.

I must get a pair soon.

I don’t like the shoes. But I love your commentary FC 🙂 Ur blog is such a treat

    • Fashion Critic October 23, 2010 at 09:27 #

      thanks Kiwi x

  9. Sharon October 23, 2010 at 01:36 #

I would never wear these shoes, but I can totally see you in them FC. Get the dress too — you’ll look amazing!

    • Fashion Critic October 23, 2010 at 09:28 #

thanks. The dress is super hot too

She looks svelte in the dress and her updo suits the polo neck. The length is unfortunate, however, and with the long line of the dress not ending until just below mid-calf, it makes her look shorter. More exposed leg would have balanced this. As for the shoes, I find them ugly and try hard. I guess I am just not a fan of over-the-top shoes.

Wow. I think she looks gorgeous! So much more sophisticated and unique than her usual Leger or sequined micro-mini dresses. Love the deep jade color, the slicked back hair, the big gold cuff. Love the shoes! If you held up the dress and the shoes to me and told me you were putting them together I would probably tell you that you were crazy but they totally work and give her look a fabulous unique spin. Well done!

I love the shoes, but with my flat feet, I would never be able to wear them.
The dress is too long. The shoes and the dress shouldn’t even be together.

  13. Gretta October 22, 2010 at 23:57 #

Kelly looks the best she’s looked in ages. Definitely one of the best dressed this week, I think. So chic. Love the shoes by the way. They’ll go with practically everything. One must purchase, FC

  14. mari October 22, 2010 at 23:48 #

I would SO break my neck in them, but they are GGRRRREAT.

    I like them!

  15. Marvel October 22, 2010 at 22:22 #

The boots are kinda fugly for me.. Sorry 🙂

  16. michelle October 22, 2010 at 20:03 #

i having been going gaga #nolady for these eer since i laid eyes on them. they shouldnt be that hard to walk in, generally wedges arent. i have wedges from topshop that are about that high, so i should be alright in them. so who’s going to buy these for me? anyone?

  17. Hannah October 22, 2010 at 18:43 #

I think they ruined the dress but they are amazing. The dress is draped and so needs accessories like the bracelet, simple and minimal but still with impact. The shoes are incredible. They look so amazing in the photo by themselves.

  18. dressaddict October 22, 2010 at 18:04 #

I don’t like the shoes at all, don’t get this thing for weird shoes…

    • Emma October 22, 2010 at 22:59 #

Agreed. At a certain point, shoes just become ridiculous. These are well past that point.

  19. Gaber October 22, 2010 at 18:03 #

    The dress is superb.
The design of then shoes intrigues me, but the print just makes me want to vomit.

  20. Ev October 22, 2010 at 17:40 #

    And btw, Kelly looks fabulous!

  21. Ev October 22, 2010 at 17:39 #

WOW, they look super high! I am so happy they don’t have my size, otherwise I would’ve have to rob someone to get them. 🙂

  22. mm October 22, 2010 at 17:25 #

I am just happy kelli has stopped wearing those wigs. She looks so much better.

The wedges are fab, how high are they?

    • Fashion Critic October 22, 2010 at 17:31 #

      about 6 ins

      • mm October 23, 2010 at 16:15 #

Whoa! i am 5’9″ my max is 4″. You are brave!

  23. Dorian Gray October 22, 2010 at 17:19 #

I like them too but remeber that I’m a Versace fan so the word “trash” doesn’t exist 🙂

    • Fashion Critic October 22, 2010 at 17:32 #

      Lol…. 😉

  24. Rebecca October 22, 2010 at 17:11 #
