Spanish actress Elsa Pataky looked fabulous when she attends her “Di Di Hollywood” Photocall in Madrid yesterday.
The petite actress who we’re more used to seeing on the red carpet during Cannes Film Festival, wore a bold Dsquared² Fall 2010 red dress.
Her dress has been modified from the runway into a sleeveless shorter dress without the black exposed zipper.
I’m not a fan of the modifications.
The dress is gorgeous on Elsa, but pale in comparison to the runway.
Ursula Mascaró peep toes complete her look.

Who Was Your Best Dressed On Day 4 of Cannes Film Festival 2013?

I don’t mind the sleeves being removed, but removing that black zipper is a shame. It provided a little edge to the dress.
There is something very Dolce & Gabbana about the runway version. I wouldn’t have recognized Elsa’s version with the runway version. The runway is far more stunning.
I agree.
It looks much better on the runway.
The skirt looks like it’s a slightly different colour? definately better on the runway. The zip just gave it that little something extra.
Shoes are Ursula Mascaró
thanks for the tip x
She should have left it as it was- the modifications make it too ordinary and it looks a little cheaper
I actually really like the modifications- it allows the colour of the outfit to stand out in it’s own right- & nice crisp lines topped off with the black detail around the waist! Fits her perfectly as well!
This quite refreshing because being a massive fan of DSquared, I never really see their clothes worn on the red carpet! I am quite a fan when it comes to the modification. I think I’m more happy that I’ve finally seen someone wearing a DSquared piece on the red carpet
I can totally see Anne Hathway in the runway dress.
The shape of the neckline in tandem with the sleeves and the exposed zipper give the runway outfit an edgy feel. Removing them turns this outfit into yet another short, strapless cocktail dress. The modifications have turned it from fab to drab.
She should have worn her runway version. She took a very edgy dress and made it boring.
