I was just going over my pictures from New York Fashion Week, and I realised I had forgotten to share the close up details from the Marchesa Spring 2011 presentation.
If you love detail like me, you’ve love this.
The shoes are by Christian Louboutin and the bags are by Marchesa.

Just perfection!!!! Are the shoes by Christian Louboutin? They’re amazing!!!
yes they are.
I love the black lace jumpsuit *le sigh* Thanks for sharing!
Seeing these clothes up close has me daydreaming about what it must feel like to wear such beautiful things. How lucky the women who do get to wear them are,
I love the dress, cream lace, with the stone beading. Just gorgeous.
the clothes are blah, but those louboutins! oh my they are gorgeous although the heel ruins the look slightly for me.
So, FC, do the models just stand there while people go around and take photos? Does it feel a bit creepy?
Not really.
It’s like being at an art exhibition
Okay, that makes sense.
wow i cant wait to see this on the red carpet
THANKYOU
! I almost died when I saw the picture of the green stone clutch, then the black. I REALLY hope nicole Kidman wears this collection, she would be perfection in the entire collection (especially the white embroidered lace gown with the beautiul neckline/neckpiece).
Ah Marchesa… More fantasy dresses one can only dream of wearing.
I love the top piece – it’s ornate, over the top complexity and yet some how just completely balanced and right (to my eyes anyway). I also love on the bottom row the 2nd photo in, the sheer dress with black tendrils crawling up it, it’s bodice is like a balcony – in fact it’s like an amazing piece of art nouveau architecture. And wouldn’t I be a happy girl to have that green stone clutch for myself!!
Thanks! Oh so pretty! I was hoping for a picture of the back of the asymmetrical gray one, but these are lovely.
i totally love this collection
first i saw this collection i fell in love with dress with this bead ornament on the bust, it’s really amazing, but now seeing the lace tail on the back i think it’s just too much… whoever weras dress first i hope they’ll leave it at home… and definitely i have to own lace jumpsuit it’s amazing…
