I remember the time when some people were upset that Freida Pinto received so much attention after “Slumdog Millionaire” because she only had a bit part in the movie.
Well she’s worked her butt off for a year and is now she’s back on the red carpet with 2 movies to promote and 3 in production.
At the Hamptons Film Festival this weekend, the Indian beauty attended the premiere of her new movie “Miral”.
She wore a black and white Marc Jacobs Resort 2011 dress which was paired with Jimmy Choo ‘Zena’ heels.
I love the texture of the dress and how the dress gives her a classic regal quality.
Her second look for the Chairmen’s Reception was a lot more informal, but just as pretty.
Freida wore a nude Stella McCartney Resort 2011 satin dress with beautiful floral embroidery.
The dress was paired with matching Ferragamo pumps and invisible make-up.
Which look do you prefer? I can’t choose.

I like the Stella McCartney look better because she seems more comfortable and natural!
But she’s stunning either way!
I much prefer the Stella McCartney look – love it from top to bottom. The Marc Jacobs looks like it hasn’t been fitted properly. Too long so that it hits the shoes in a funny way, and it somehow makes her appear thick and waistless (ha – we KNOW that isn’t the case). I do adore the red lipstick with it.
me too, the second one i sooo cute, her dress reminds me on a manila’s shawl
i echo molly and sarahv…love the stella look. the marc jacobs is lovely but i find the skirt a tad too long,,,
#2 for me as well… and she seems SO made up in #1. Almost unrecognizable.
Second one for me also – lovely against her colouring and looks so effortless. I know its only early in the wk but perhaps a possible BDOTW contender?
i prefer stella look, it’s young it’s fresh and looks great on her, marc is kind of too serious for her, and she doesn’t have personality to match that dress, it’s like the dress wears her, i see the dress but i lost freida in it.
Door #2 for sure!
Does she remind anyone else of Rachel Roy?
A tiny bit, yes
Yes definitely.
The Stella look because Freida does cute better than lady like.
Stella works better for her as the MJ look to big for her and over whelming her. Plus the dress isn’t very nice.
Shes’s pretty, but i cant stand her!
Definitely the second Stella, so fresh and pretty. I like the Marc Jacobs but it is slightly overwhelming, she is so slender she can carry it off, but the floral is perfect. Does anyone else think the Marc Jacobs model looks scarily thin, or is it just her cheekbones?
The Marc Jacobs swamps her and the styling of her hair and make up is too severe. The Stella McCartney is perfect – cute, young and fresh.
I prefer cute and confident SM and not so flattering MJ. Looks much better in her invisible make-up than bright red Dita V T red lips.
I am not crazy about Stella McCartney’s clothing, but I would have to go with that dress. She looks good in it even though I hate the flowers.
As much as I love Marc Jacobs, that dress needs some tweaking. The bodice should be fitted. The skirt need to be knee length. I am getting a feminine vibe from this dress for some reason, but the execution is all wrong.
I much prefer the Stella dress on her; the Marc Jacobs dress is engulfing her and is too long for her. She looks cute in the Stella dress.
can we put them both up for BDOTW? cause, well, i’d like to!
